The king of Oda and the king of Fada had succeeded in making the other kings see their vision and the power they now wield. They wanted to go into the palace of the king of Aba and lay everything in his kingdom to waste, capture the ancient beast and them use it for their dinner. In the words of the king of Fada. "Yes, we have had enough of the ancient beast and we are equally tired of the king of Aba whose greed and envy put him in the condition he is now. Very worst of it all is the way he thinks that with the beast on his side he can conquer the world. Soon we will show him that power does not reside with one person. That true power resides in unity. We are united under one purpose and that purpose is simple; we will match into the kingdom of Aba and lay his land to waste and capture the ancient beast and burn it, using it's meat for dinner" When he was through other kings of other kingdoms felt a new spirit in them and they were all energised and now ready to move. They held another meeting in the kingdom of Oda and the king of Fada and his army were the first to arrive in that meeting. Other kings began to arrive after some minutes and the king of Oda stood to address them. "With the ancient beast in the possession of the king of Aba or should I say with the king of Aba being in the possession of the king of the beast our primary target should be the beast, the ancient beast and not the king. If we get the beast we have gotten the king and if we get the king we have not gotten the beast. Sharpen your swords and have your army get ready for what lies ahead. Just like the king of Fada said, we will go to Aba kingdom, drag out the beast and have him for dinner" When they were done and each and every of the kings had spoken their mind the king of Oda then rose again and gave a date this war will take place. After he was done the rest stood up and left. The kings went back to their various kingdoms and continued to make preparation for what lied ahead. In Aba and inside the palace the king was seated and after sometimes he stood up and began to walk to the cage where the ancient beast was chained and when he got there he began to caress his head and the beast moaned and kept on looking at the king. "I know that the world hates you but I do not hate you. I do not despise you and I will do whatever it takes to protect you" He touched the face of the beast and then took two steps backward and bowed before it. The beast smiled and his smiling was scarier than when it was not smiling. The time came for when the movement would begin and so the king of Oda and his friend, the king of Fada set off at once to meet with the other kings who had already come out with their troops and their weapons. When they came and joined forces they began to march. It was the mountain spies as they were called were the ones who saw the terrifying look of the armies of Oda and that of Fada and began to run back to the kingdom of Aba to tell him that some kingdoms were bringing war to his doorstep. When the king of Aba received this message he said he was not going to arrange for the allies to come neither was he going to father his troops against Oda and Fada and the armies they bring with them. When the officials of Oda wanted to know what their king meant by that he told them that it was high time he showed those who decided that they would not be submissive under him to know that he had what it took to destroy them, alone and without the help of any kingdom. He made them to understand that he will be riding his beast to meet them in the battle field. When the soldiers of Aba heard this they began to jubilate and to dance with their swords. They hailed their king and made him to know that they wee ready to be loyal to him until death. They continued to dance until the king hut his hand on the table and there was total silence. The whole soldiers became silent and then decided to wait to hear what next their king had to say to them..The king then began to laugh and they slowly joined them and the laughter became too loud that one could say that the king and his generals and soldiers had gone mad. The army of Oda and that of Fada and the rest of them had crossed the border that separated them and that of the kingdom of Aba and then they stopped to rest. They built a camp where they would stay for the night to continue their journey the next day. While they were in the camp the king of Oda sent one of his messengers to go to the king of Fada and let him know that he would want to see him. The king of Fada, after receiving the message went to meet with the king of Oda at once and while they were seated the king of Oda began to tell the king of Fada the story his father told him many years ago about the father of the king of Aba and why they had to be more careful as they did whatever they did. The story had it that the king of Aba at that time had sent out twenty men to a kingdom called Mema and the reason for sending the men was because the king of Mema was sick and had told the king of Aba that he would want him to send someone he trusted very well..Someone who would come and stay on the throne until he is well again to rule his people. In the letter that the king of Mema sent to the king of Aba it read: Dear King of Aba and friend, I know that you are a very busy man and I know too that you are my friend and you will not turn me down in times of trouble. You are such a man that would come to the rescue of your friend in need and so I will go straight to the point now; My wife is dead and my son is just ten years old. My brothers are greedy and disloyal and i am sick and can not meet up with the requirements of my kingdom. I want you to help me a send someone who would come and take a seat on my throne and rule it for me so that when i am well again I will take over and continue from where I stopped but in case I die the person you send should rule until my son come of age. I trust you and that is why i am sending you this letter. I may not be alive by the time you will reply and that is why I did not take the risk of inviting you for before you reach here I might have died. Understand my situation now and help a friend" After the king of Aba was done reading that letter he had sent some messengers to go with the messenger of the king of Mema who brought the letter to ensure that the letter he had received was truly coming from the king of Mema. Before the messengers returned the king was already very sick and was almost dying and so he signed some documents as evidence of his agreement concerning the letter he had written the king of Aba and begged the messengers the king of Aba sent to beg their king to please sign too and swing into action immediately. Before the messengers left the king of Mema was dead already and so they went home and told the king of Aba of what happened and the king of Aba signed the documents immediately and called his general. Meanwhile in the kingdom of Mema the immediate younger brother to the late king of Mema was already preparing and there were supporters who were about to sweat him to become the king of Mema. When the king of Aba received this message he was infuriated and embarked on a journey to the kingdom of Mema. It was on the day of the coronation of the younger brother to the late king of Mema that the king of Aba arrived with over two thousand soldiers. He had brought with him also the document containing the agreement of the late king of Mema and himself. When he stormed the palace of the kingdom of Mema the guards and everybody present were surprised for they did not know that the king of Aba was invited to the coronation. The king of Aba walked towards the throne holding the document and when he reached there he told the younger brother to the late king of Mema to step away and not rejoice yet. He handed the document to the king makers and they read through and one of them handed it to the younger brother to the king of Mema and when he read it he tore of to pieces and told the king of Aba that he should go back to his land if he did not want to start what he would not be able to finish but then the king of Aba laughed and told him that he had already expected that which he said and that was why he brought with him over two thousand soldiers. The younger brother to the late king of Mema could not understand why the king of Aba would do this to his long awaited dream. The truth was that it was the younger brother to the late king of Aba that killed the late king with poison and he had done it hoping that when he died he would assume the throne knowing that his son was too young.
