Ubiam was a small village and if was occupied by few people as well. When they saw Oyolima and her younger sister Golibe enter with their mother they scared because the last time they had strangers they woke up at night to find most of their childe gone from their hurts. On that day the people of Ubiam decided that accepting strangers by any villager would be strictly by the order of their chief whom they regarded as Onowu. The chief would first see the strangers and if he accepts that they stay then they would stay but if he does not then they would have to go back to where they came from. The first villager that Golibe wanted to ask a question ran away from them and the second person almost spat on them. "Why are they they so rude to us. They have not seen us before so why being rude" asked Oyolima who knew no one would give her an answer. Their mother, the Queen of Getu was getting so very tired and this had made the sister to rest every now and then. At some point they decided to nest in a lonely hurt just outside the village square and while they were about taking their seat they began to hear noises outside and then came the chanting song of the people of Ubiam. Golibe and Oyolima both stepped out and were terrified of the people as most of then carried sticks. The villagers were saying some things and Oyolima and Golibe did not comprehend what they were saying. It was their mother who came out and began to speak with them. The mother realised that the villagers were asking them to leave their town and never return. Their mother also could understand that the villagers were calling them names, names like murderers, kidnappers and evil people. She made her daughters understand that the villagers were also saying that they should leave their village for them. "Mother we cannot leave now. We can not possible leave now. There is nowhere else to go to and we have to rest and eat" said Golibe as she sat frustratingly and refused to move. The mother and the older sister tried their best to ask her to get up and follow them but she refused, saying that the villagers of Ubiam could do whatever they wished with her. The villagers realising that Golibe was the one who did not want to leave began to drag her up. Oyolima and her mother thinking they would force her to leave were surprised when the villagers began to take her away. Oyolima and her mother tried to stop them but they were also taken away by the villagers. Before they they were all being carried shoulder high by the able bodied men of Ubiam village.
