STARLIGHT Legend

Chapter one “It’s time!!!!!!!, ah another year waking up to my sister’s screaming. “Wake up Tyler today we might get lucky and get our mates” my sister Kelly said in her always happy voice. It was our 22nd birthday and we have still not found our mates. I think the moon Goddess forgot that she created us, by the way my twin sister and I are Alpha offspring. In a normal pack with normal rules I could have been an alpha already but nope not until I get my fated mated. I have tried to convince my father to let me choose a chosen mate so I can run the pack and he and mom can retire but unfortunately for thousands of years it has been tradition for the alpha of Starlight pack to have a mate before they can take of over. I kicked off my navy blue cover and went to the bathroom to do my morning routine and as always Kelly followed me to the bathroom. “We need to accept the council’s proposal to host this year’s ball” Kelly said, sitting on my vanity.’ Privacy please’ I eyed her as I was about to pee. “ arg come on dude I have seen it before , we stayed together in mom’s womb for 6 moths ’ I turned around to face my sister “ well it was under developed then” I said laughing “ eww your so weird” Kelly jumped off my vanity and left my bathroom.. “Hurry up mom and dad are waiting for us downstairs” she shouted while walking out of my room. I did my business, took a shower and went off to my closet to get clothes. I went out of my bathroom buck naked only to find Cecilia my maid cleaning, to say she was modified will be super underrated.’ I am so sorry sir” she said shyly looking away. I chuckled and walked away Chapter two I got dressed in my tradition sweats and t-shirt and walked downstairs to the dining hall. When I got there I found my family and friends but my sister wasn’t there, it wouldn’t be Kelly if she didn’t make a grand entrance. My mom, Luna Anna walked towards me and hugged me “ happy birthday honey” she was  way shorter than me, she only reached my chest.” Thank you mama’ , my dad Alpha Jim gave me a standard handshake “happy birthday Tyler, hope you get your mate because boy I am tired I need to go skiing with my wife” I rolled my eyes “ I know dad’ I said. Kelly made her grand entrance and all the attention shifted to her, I was glad as I didn’t have the energy to deal with my father again this year. She entered the hall with her curls bouncing everywhere and a million dollar smile. We all sat down for breakfast.“ I hope I get my mate too, it’s been ages now” my best friend and future beta Dave said while reaching for the bacon.  I simply laughed knowing that Dave decided to be celibate till he found his mate, while I on the other hand had my fair share of booty calls ,my regular being Christine ,Dave’s sister. We finished our meal. Dave and I went to the training grounds while our siblings went to do god knows what girls do before a big bash. My beta and always sprawled together and we always had an audience, we loved it. We were good looking and loved giving the maidens a little show. “Man I hope this ball is fruitful, I am getting blue balls” Dave said while sipping water while we rested on the benches shirtless, I laughed “ just get a willing maiden and get your freak on like I do ‘ Dave gave me the side eye .” I mean our mates seem to be none existent so….” I said stretching my legs. I will wait for my gift from the moon goddess I don’t want these hungry she-wolves being attached to me and giving me trouble when my queen arrived”. “ahh” I sighed “ let’s get going dude before my dad losses his mind and sends the patrol squad to come get me. We both got up and walked up to the main pack house. It was very busy as omegas and maids were preparing for the ball, while the gamma’s where giving orders. I bumped into Cecilia, and the poor thing blushed deep beetroot red and her eyes where glued on my crotch area, I chuckled and walked away to my room. There on my navy blue king sized bed was a suit cover which had my tux in it my room was decorated in shades of blue and grey, had a grey couch near the window leading to the balcony. My tv was mounted on the wall opposite my bed. I opened the sliding door leading to my bathroom. It was decorated in gold and white and I kinder liked it. I quickly jumped into the shower waited till the water turned warm and started showering. I kept thinking about my mate and how she would look. I finished and got dressed in my charcoal tuxedo. I looked at my reflection. I was a splitting image of my mom. With ink black hair and icy blue eyes and and olive skin. Kelly took my dad’s red curly hair with grey eyes and a painfully pale skin tone. Chapter three I walked into the hall, it was decorated in silver and black, funny considering that we werewolves are not fans of the metal silver. Everything looked decent. I really didn’t care about the décor all I wanted was for the maiden and all the other packs to arrive so I can mingle and if lucky get laid. Talking about getting laid my all-time favorite booty call Christine walked in hand and hand with my best friend. The girl was drop dead gorgeous she wore a mint green ball gown which showed case her cleavage and that nice pear shaped body, I instantly got an erection. ‘You better not think about it’ my wolf Tim said ‘ she is not our mate and I don’t like her much’ .Tim was dramatic if he wasn’t my other half I would think he was drama student. I walked towards Dave and Christine …’hello chrisy’ I said giving her a hug, Dave quickly pulled her away,: stop it you two’ Dave was a bit jealous and suspected I had a crush on his twin if only he knew the things chrisy and I got up to at night by willow tree. People started arriving and I welcomed them. “Alpha Tyler“ I turned around to see my old collage friend Jake.” You know I am not an Alpha yet “ I said while shaking his hand. He has a beautiful wife on his arm. “This is my wife Trudy” I took her hand and kissed it “ nice to meet you Luna “ that earned me a growl from Jake. I simple chuckled and raised my hands like I was surrendering; you see werewolves are very territorial especially with their mates. I introduced Dave to my friend and his wife, then it suddenly hit me. I smelled her, she was here my mate as finally here, Tim was howling and losing his mind in my head. I smelled strawberries, vanilla and cream all together; I turned around in search on that delicious smell. I bumped into my sis, “ hey watch where you going”. She said, I couldn’t focus on her I simply said “she id here”. Kelly asked “who??”. Just then I saw her and everything and everyone in the room seem to fade away in a blur. Standing there with a group of people was my mate. She was taller, had a grey floor length gown. She had brown eyes and brown hair. Her face looked like it was sculpted by angels and her body was truly a work of art. “mate” that’s all she said me to me . “ hi I am Tyler”, when those full pink lips opened , her voice sounded like music. “hello I am Trinity”. My parents told me about mate bonds but the feeling I had didn’t match it, it was like I was holding my breath all my life and meeting Trinity has a breath of fresh air. I couldn’t take my eyes off her, damn she was beautiful. I extended my hand to her and when she touched it I felt sparks all over my body. I asked “ may I please have this dance” she simple nodded and we made our way to the dance floor, I wanted to scratch out eyes of everyman that was looking at her, she was mine and mine alone, well that’s if she will agree. When we got there I looked her “ I apologize Trinity I had two left feet” she laughed ,making me have a hard on instantly. “ don’t worry, I too avoided dance lessons, so we will trip and fall together’. We danced and our bodies felt like they knew each other for centuries, we were so lost in the rhythm that I didn’t even notice chrisy next to us. “dinner is served alpha”  she said in her flirty voice Chapter four We moved to the dining hall, I pulled a chair for Trinity. We sat down I kept holing her hand under the table. My family and the beta family arrived , my mom smiled at me and said “ honey are you not going introduce us to your friend” , my dad on the other hand didn’t look interested as he thought she was my ‘lady of night’. “ mom this is Trinity , she is my mate” that gained my fathers attention, “so you telling us you finally found your mate after so long??” my dad asked i replied “yes dad she is my fated mate’. My sister stood up and hugged Trinity who simply smiled.  Dinner was served, we had roasted beef,honey glazed veggies , the conversation was flowing, my best friend turned his attention to her and asked , “which pack are you from Trinity”, it then hit me I haven’t asked her anything . she cleared her throat “ I am from moon crescent pack”, my dad choked on his wine “ so that bastard Thomas is the alpha. Trinity swallowed her carrot and replied, “unfortunately my father still is the alpha” . what! So my mate was an alpha too. My dad was mortified but because of his an alpha and his pride wouldn’t let him show emotions, he just said “ apologies young lady I didn’t know he was your father”, she politely “ no need for apologies Alpha, my father isn’t everyone’s cup of tea’. We all continued to eat and have our little conversations. Dessert was served. It was vanilla ice cream with strawberry sorbet. Everyone looked at me funny when I started eating the sorbet, considering I wasn’t a fan of them. After dinner we excused ourselves and I took Trinity on a walk. The sky was beautiful, not a single cloud to be seen. Trinity and I walked in silence and I was s**t scared to talk, I have never had a girlfriend , just hook ups so it was weird getting to know someone . “so is the legend true about your pack” she asked while sitting down on a swing , “what legend ??” I asked while gently pushing her, “about the twins” I loved her smell. “ oh yeah its true, everyone born from 70 years ago had a twin, hence we have the biggest pack in the northern hemisphere. I stopped pushing her and took the swing next to her.  ‘I want to meet her, let me go ‘ Tim was just losing his mind ,wanting to meet his mate, I looked at her and asked “ my wolf would like to meet you, he has  been patient all night now his simply just annoying” she stood up while giggling “ I guess ….’I quickly replied TIM, she continued “ I guess Tim and Layla has something in common” she stripped off her gown, right the in the middle of the hall park, she looked at me asked are you coming. I quickly got out of my tux, and when I turned around she was already shifted, her wolf was bigger than most she-wolf I have seen, it was golden amber, it’s fur looked like it sparkled under the night sky. I walked and touch her, the sparks were intense and she felt soft. I shifted too letting Tim take over. My wolf was the same color as my hair with grey eyes, ‘wow” she mind linked  me while rubbing herself against me “ wanna go for a run” I asked, she nodded, we went for a run and that was the best run ever, we stopped by the little creek and we laid down “do you want to shift back,: I asked via mind link, “ well we are naked alpha I don’t think you are ready to see my ass just yet”, I just nodded if only she knew how much I wanted to see her ass but I was being a gentleman and suggested we run back as I still had business to attend at the ball.   Chapter five We got back to the hall, my hair was a little dishelved but mate looked incredible, she didn’t look like she was naked a few minutes ago. I walked with her hand in hand. We earned a few stares and as I was making my way to the stage, a man made his way to us and grabbed Trinity’s hand. I don’t know what come over me as I am normally level headed, I instantly broke the guys arm by forcefully removing it from my mate, and the growl that left my chest was enough to be felt even by the owls far in the woods, “arhhhhhhh are you insane dude” he cried while holding his broken arm. Trinity put her hands on my chest and that instantly calmed me down, she mind linked me ‘ please come down babe”, she turned around to face the i***t. “ what the hell are you doing here Zack” she was pissed I could feel it through our mate bond but on the surface she was poised. Zack straighten up as his arm was slowly started to heal “ well considering that you are my wife to be I have every right to be where you are”. Tim was ready to jump out, wife?? How the hell is my mate married. Dave was near me ready to go to war with me as always, he mind linked me “ say the word and I kill him now’. “ ENOUGH!!! Trinity used her alpha voice and everyone who wasn’t a alpha , froze in place. “this fool here is who my father choose for me to marry seeing that I dint get my mate well after 20 years, I am not your wife and will never be, I have found my mate and I will stay with him” Zack was a bit shocked he was fuming “ well Trinity take that up with alpha Thomas , I am here to take my wife. Time isn’t on my side I need to start the mating process’. I couldn’t contain Tim anymore as he I jumped and shifted midair, tearing my tux, Zack didn’t get time to process what was happen, I had him pinned on the floor, and his pack members came running but simply stopped when the saw my wolf size. My father come near “ Tyler calm down son, go for a run, trinity take him with you” I stepped off Zack’s chest and he started coughing . I moved and everyone made a way for me and my mate. I needed to shift back because there was no way Tim will fit at the door. Trinity brushed my fur until I had enough control over Tim, Dave was next to me with my sweats and t-shirt. I shifted back and got dressed, Dave looked at me “ dude your sister is gonna kill you , you ruined yet another one of her tux. I tied my sneakers “well I keep her business busy she must thank me” when I lifted my head I saw my mate and my anger stilled, she came and gave me a hug , I swear her touch could bring me back to life. How was I so affected by someone I just met 6 hours ago. “My love I need to finish up n here so we could live”. I made my way to the stage,with trinity by my side , “ Ladies and gentleman, Alphas and Luna apologies for the commotion I hope I didn’t ruin anyone’s night, thank you all for attending our charity ball, we have raised enough money to help small packs sustain their livelihood, with the money we made will be able to send more than a thousand pups to university when they need it. We have made sleeping arrangements for everyone at our hotel, alphas and their lunas will join us at the pack house for their lodging, To everyone who got their mates today congratulations and those who didn’t , will see you at the singles ball later this year, with that being said please join me as I welcome my mate and hopefully future wife Trinity of moon crescent pack”. She walked on stage like the boss she is , she was confident and had an alpha aura that no one can deny. Everyone applauded and was cheerful until, the hall doors bust open ….”WHAT THE HELL TRINITY”, a loud alpha voice come by, my chest vibrated again can this night get any worse. Chapter six The man walked up to us, he was stopped by my warriors. Trinity’s anger was boiling to a point of no return, I wanted to help her calm down but she blocked me out, I couldn’t even mind link her. She let go of my hand and marched off to the man, just then my dad come by. “you are not going to cause havoc in my pack Thomas” Alpha Thomas” well Jim I wouldn’t be here if your son didn’t abduct my daughter”. Oh so this was my future father in law and I already didn’t like him. Trinity chuckled “abduct?? Is that what Zack told you?? I just met my mate I was about to call you and tell you but I guess your lap dog already did” Thomas growled “watch your mouth young lady, I am still your father and your alpha , I make decision for your life”. At this point I was more than annoyed, I mind linked all my warriors to get everyone out of the hall and secure the exists. Trinity walked up to her father and looked him dead in the eyes “ you do not dictate my life, you might use all your power back at the back but I will not stand for such, if you like Zack so much why don’t you marry him yourself” Alpha Thomas lost his temper and slapped my mate across the face, I saw RED!!!, in a spilt second I was on his throat, my dad and his warriors removed me quickly, he tried to use his alpha orders on me but they didn’t work because I am an alpha too, official on not. ”What the hell is wrong with, I have tolerated your nonsense enough please leave my pack, and you are banned from ever coming even 2miles near it” my father said fuming, which was a rare site considering the man hardly shows emotions. Alpha Thomas fixed his suit “ I will gladly leave , with my daughter that is “ .Trinity walked up to him again “ I Trinity Brooke of moon crescent will like renounce my membership and title at moon crescent pack, therefore becoming a rogue” . Thomas was shell shocked, I can’t believe what she just did.“ You can’t become a rogue, I am your mate and you will become a member and luna of starlight pack” I was next to her and holding her hand. Thomas gathered himself and looked at my father, “ you don’t know what you have done and what kind of problem this girl will cause for your mighty pack” with that he left along side with his warriors We walked back to the pack house, Trinity was quiet the whole time, I didn’t want to push her to talk about what just happen back there. Who knew meeting my mate would be this dramatic. I was so tired all I wanted to do was just sleep, I saw Cecilia walking out of my room. When we reached my door Trinity stopped walking. What’s wrong “ I asked “well you didn’t show me to my quarters and the is no way in hell I am spending the night with a man I just met, mate or not” she said looking feisty as always, I just laughed and tagged her along into my room, Cecilia laid down my pjs , which is something she never does, I wonder what has gotten into her. Trinity looked impressed by room till her eyes landed on my bed and she laughed uncontrollably “ so mommy still lies your pj for you “ she continued laughing she looked at the door “is Luna coming to tuck you in a read you a bed time story” . I pushed her onto my bed while she was laughing and kissed her. The feeling and the sparks I felt was like the 4th of july mixed with Chinese new year all it one, the kiss made her stop laughing and she kissed me back as passionately as she was laughing, my c**k was throbbing and I was hard as a rock, I went to touch her thigh and she instantly pushed me off her. I walked into my closet to change and when I came back she was dressed in my pj top and her dressed was laid carefully on my desk. “well goodnight trinity “ “goodnight tyler. I settled onto my couch and waited for my mate to fall asleep, her heartbeat was so fast and slightly loud, with my wolf hearing I felt like it was those spiritual drums, after a few minutes it was dead quiet and she was peacefully asleep. I dozed off , that’s until I heard her screaming I woke up so fast I fell off the couch and tripped by my polar fierce blanket. I quickly hit the side lamp that illuminated my room. I gently woke her up, she was wet from sweating and she woke up swinging fists, which one landed on my cheekbone. “AHHH” I rubbed the spot, Trinity was modified she was off the bed fast and apologizing” oh goodness, oh goddess Tyler I am very sorry” I rubbed my jaw , “ don’t worry it will heal in a few hours, are you okay??” she then started crying , I got into bed with her and comforted her . she cried till she fell asleep and I slept too.
