Chapter 9

Salem's point of view

I'm on my animal form while silently watched everyone in this room where am I. They're creating nuisance sounds that make me more irritated. I'm on the meeting with other dorm leaders and that counts Zach in and obviously, me. I prefer sleeping in my room than wearing my 'nice' mask on. Seeing everyone's faces makes me leave the place, count their noises in. That's why I also prefer attending every meeting like this on my animal form.

But this meeting is mostly like a commotion for me. It's like every soul from the abyss begging for forgiveness.

'Seriously, when would they shut their f***ing mouths?'

"Mr. Zachary, do you think that I didn't know it? Why you claim someone who's not me?!" Garnett said while pointing her finger at Zach who's nonchalantly sitting beside me. Her gaze averted on me then raised her brow, "And you bring a fox. What is this one? Your pet? Where's the leader of hybrids' dorm?"

My hair is long but my patience is not. Look at them, they're acting like whiny b***h. And of course, Zachary will claim who the f**k he wants as long as it's not Garnett. I'm not nice but I'll let this one pass.

"Better to keep in peace, Garnett," Julius said before drinking the blood from his goblet. Hailey, the leader of the fairy, Erin, the leader of dwarves, and Keiro, the leader of the elf agreed. Grimoire and the two remaining elemental mages are silently preparing themselves in case the princess of Huô might be in trouble.

A princess who can even use the fire properly.

"Hey Fox, get out, the meeting hasn't started yet you're causing a nuisance." Aquarius, the prince of Uisce, the rude water boy. He got named after a constellation but he looks like a sea rock with mosses.

"Yeah, Aquarius is right." Megan the princess of Aarde. She and Aquarius can be a good couple, the dynamic soil erosion or a landslide.

"That fox's fur is beautiful, how about make that as a scarf?" Grimoire asked while scanning my fur. Those mages are always testing every supernatural patience. They're nothing but humans who are using magic and act like they already mastered it. Honestly, they made me almost give a s**t to them.

"Enough with this. You're causing a nuisance, act prim and proper like what you supposed to be, four of you are those who're causing nuisance not the rest of the supernaturals." Zachary said, making four of them shut their mouths up. Lady Selene and Lady Marionette entered the room and the meeting started.

The meeting ended after an hour or two, the rest of the other supernaturals leave the room while Zachary and I are just waiting for them to leave since Zach wants to leave after them and I'm too lazy to interact with them. I spread the fire around me before I turned into my human form and wear my uniforms.

"Mayer and Zenith." Lady Selene called the attention of the two of us, "I heard that the two of you are having a connection to Mira Gloucester, who claimed her?" Lady Marionette asked while narrowing her eyes at me and Zach.

"This bastard is. Don't give me that look, Lady Marionette." She laughed after my reply, "I'm just asking, you seem like having a--" I raised my hand to motion her to stop.

'Having an interest with Leonory.'

"No."I defended myself.

"Alright, alright. By the way, I'm giving the five of you a mission. That includes Leonory, Gloucester, and Douglass."

"Those three are just rookies but they're good at fighting." Lady Selene explained, "All you need to do is to teach those newbies how the Rimholmians do their mission." She added.

"Why us?" I asked. Zach covered my mouth then bow politely, "I understand, Lady Marionette and Lady Selene." He said. I punch his waist hardly causing him to winced in pain and remove his hand from my mouth.

"May we know what's the mission is?" He asks before clinging his arm around my neck and acts like he's friendly but in truth, he's choking me. I stepped on his foot and pretend like I haven't done anything after he released me.

"Good question, that mission is just a small fry."

"All you need to do is to hijack a ship that barges in Mostra in Regnum. That's not just an ordinary ship but a ship with shifter, mages, elves, and vampires." Lady Marionette said before letting the both of us leave the room.

Zachary looked at me after we passed on elf's dorm but I pushed him away from me then give him a death glare, "I won't do that if you want to, kidnap their asses by yourself."

"Come on," I rolled my eyes then entered the place, "She's your claim and I can sense that Garnett is jealous."

"I claim anyone as long as it's not her." He replied, causing the two of us to snicker.

We stopped in front of their door and the wolf beside me motioned the door like a gentleman. I didn't say a word before kicking it, causing the door to fall on the floor, broken. Mira and her friends are inside while playing but they stopped after the door fell that creates a loud thud.

"We're here for the three of you," Zachary announced as he stepped inside. His gaze landed at Mira then smiled gently.

"For a mission."
