Unexpectedly Falling

Nate’s POV The sun was shining so bright, but I was feeling too weak to bother moving into the ti avoid getting sunburned. I sighed a little and turned around until I was lying on my side. I was currently splayed out on my balcony, in the late afternoon and the mid day sun was very bright at this very moment. It’s been three days since the day I went to the meeting at mr Scott’s company’s, where we had all finally signed all the contracts. It’s been three days since I git into an argument with Jack, where as we had both ended up exchanging words back and forth before finally ending the whole thing with me writing my number down and storming out of the conference room angrily. It’s been three days since I had called Jacob and invited him over to come spend some time with me, three days since I got even more closer to Jacob after spilling my whole life stories to him and all what was intertwined around Jack. It’s been theee days since i came to the conclusion that I’ve successfully made another friend apart from Avery, and I was super glad about that. Jacob had spend a good time witt me on that particular afternoon, and had ended up leaving for his house late at night. I enjoyed his company so much and he made me feel less lonely, made me temporarily stop thinking about Jack every damn moment. We even got to share a wine together, directly from the bottle because Jacob had insisted we do it like that, it was one of those wines which my father had gotten for me some weeks ago, which was very costly and fine.
