CHAPTER 31 SABRINA Grabbing my things and leaving Lachlan behind might be the hardest thing I’ve ever done enough in my life. It’s several hours later, and I’m still not okay. If I hadn’t gotten Sophie to help me, I might not have made it out of The Whitby’s lobby, let alone the fancy hotel’s front door. I shake those thoughts off, focusing on our destination. As soon as our taxi stops, Sophie steps out to pay the driver, and I follow in her footsteps.
