Chapter 15, Thoughts Of Love!

Sarah's POV

He loved her. At long last. When Sarah woke she was laying in Jareth's embrace. In his castle. It was true. He had been after her heart the whole time.

She was to blind to see that it was right before her very eyes. Now she had all she longed for. She felt like a true princess now. She would soon be his queen. Was she ready to rule a kingdom? She wanted to help. To be fair.

To help all her friends to. Make this world a better place. With Jareth at her side the whole time. Sarah smiles as she enjoys his embrace wrapped around her.

His warm body was behind her. Holding her tenderly. It felt so good to be in his arms. She began to think back about her powers. She must have more powers she needed to explore.

After all she was a goblin princess.

To think all this time she could have grown up with a real family who loved her. Not one who gave up on her. One who never wanted her around. And she could have grown up with little Jareth. What had he been like as a child. She could not help but wonder how different her life might have been.

Thankfully Jareth had found her. And brought her home. She loved it here.

Most of all she loved him.

She knew they were going to get married. That they were going to have a child together. A boy. But when was Jareth ever going to ask her to marry him?

How long would he make her wait for him? Hopefully not too long. She would have married him yesterday if he had allowed her to do so.

"Sarah how long have you been awake my princess?" he yawns suddenly.

She turns to face him. They lay face to face. Her heart races faster. He looked adorable all sleepy eyed.

She touches his cheek.

"Not long my king" she answers.

He smiles. "I like it you call me your king" he softly says.

"Someday, I shall be your queen" she reminds him. She leans in and they share a kiss.

"Yes, you shall my Sarah" he answers.

"I am sorry it took me so long to see your heart" she tells him. "I waisted so much of your time. No wonder you were so frustrated with me back them"

"That ball back then remember our dance?" he asks her.

She nods.

"I do, you made me chase after you. You put a spell over me" she chuckles.

"I tried then to show you. But you never listened to the words of my song then" he reminds her.

"I had never been in a world like this before full of magic and wonder. I never knew anyone like you before" she admits. "I am so thankful we found our way to each other though" she says. "before it was to late"

"I was never going to allow you to marry him" he states.

She gets the chills at his words.

"You knew I belonged to you" she answers.

"Yes" he says. "we were meant for each other"

"You are full of magic" she says.

"For you dear Sarah. You are full of magic to you have to see it" he points out.

He pulls her closer in his arms.

Then kisses her. She returns his kisses.

"I could spend all day in bed" she giggles.

"Then let's" he teases.

"Jareth mother wants us over for lunch" she reminds him.

"Bother that woman" he laughs. "we will be there by lunch"

She remembered her clothing was back home. How would she change?

"I sent for your clothing it is already here" he tells her.

"You can read my mind to? How could I forget?" she giggles.

"How indeed" he points out.

She has many dresses set before her to pick from. Dozens of gowns. And crowns to pick to.

"Get dressed my darling there is nothing I can't give to you" he reminds her.

He kisses her.

They get ready for the day. Sarah picks a blue gown. Jareth wore dark tights and blue shirts. She loved the color on him.

She wanted to please her king. She dressed up. Then was soon ready for the day. It was too late for breakfast. They would have a great lunch with her mother anyway.

"You look like a true queen to be" he tells her once he lays eyes on her.

"Thank you" she answers him.

She smiles. Her heart sinks. He had yet to mention marriage. Did he want to marry for the kingdom or only her? She was still confused by all that. When he would ask her. How he was going to ask her. She was feeling impatient a bit. But that was because of their past issues. She had to wait on him.

"Sarah, you look puzzled. And you're blocking your thoughts from me. Why?" he softly asks as he makes his way to her side. "we should keep nothing from each other. If you have something to say ask me. You can ask me anything"

"I can block thoughts? I did not know I could" she stammers. "I did not know I was"

"Your powers are new to you. Of course, you don't know. But I can guide you through them" he tells her. "I hope you shall never hide your true feelings from me. You can trust me"

"I know that Jareth, I am not sure why I felt the need to hide it or why I hid them" she stammers.

"I believe you" he answers her.

"Can I ask you something?"

"Anything..."

"Can I read thoughts to?" she wonders.

"Mine yes, no one else's. We are meant for each other. Together our powers shall grow" he explains.

"Wow!" she exclaims.

"Let me show you" he tells her. He faces her.

Then he is looking her deep in the eyes. Suddenly she hears him. And he was not moving his lips or speaking.

"Do you hear me Sarah my queen?"

She gasps.

Then claps her hands together.

"I heard you! I heard you!" she happily exclaims. "wow this is amazing!!"

"Yes dear" he thinks allowed to her. "Kiss me"

She giggles then makes her way to his side. She leans in kissing him.

"Tell me what were you hiding from me beloved?" he speaks in her mind after the kiss.

"Do you not wish to marry me?" she worries. "that I hurt you before? That I ruined things between us? And now you don't want marriage? You have yet to ask me....never mind. Forget it...."

She goes to leave. "Let's go to mothers" she speaks out loud that time.

He stops her. He grabs her arm.

Then holds her close to his side.

"Sarah, I have something planned. Yes, I will marry you beloved. I plan on asking you properly. You are not a prize to me. I will show you how loved you are. Something special you will always look back on during our years together that we have" he speaks in his mind to her. "I love you. I plan to love you forever"

"I love you, Jareth forever" she vows.

Then they kiss. She melts in his arms.

She could hardly wait for him to propose. She could hardly wait to say yes. She could not wait to be his queen.

She could still be that impatient child at times. But she wanted him to see her as she was now. A woman who could love him forever. And she would.
