THE THREE M'S

EPISODE ONE 'Oh my gosh! I can't wait for my birthday. Sixteen isn't something much but I'll make mine so sweet' Mia exclaimed as she got up from sleep. That was her early rising anthem. Looking at the time on the alarm clock reluctantly, it was past 7am. She'll be late for school. "Mia, come have your breakfast! You're late already " Mia's mom, Mrs. Shawn, cried out. " On my way down there, mom" Mia responded. She got herself ready for school and went down to have her meal. "Mom, I'll be sixteen in a short while " Mia reminded her as usual. She always talked about it, her sweet sixteen, "it's in 2 months time, Mia" her mom replied and Mia sighed and continued with her meal. When she was done, she remembered to reply to her mom "Yeah! I know. Thanks for the meal mom" " Hurry up and go your driver is waiting, and you need to elude from your disciplinarian " Mrs. Shawn urged her "Alright mom. Bye!! see you when I get back " Mia hugged her mom and left for school. As Mia got to school, her besties came out to take her into the classroom. "Why are you late?" Marbel questioned "Yeah! you're really late today. What came up?" Mercy seconded the question "Gals, I really don't know but I think it's the feeling I get from knowing that I will be 16 soon. I just can't wait" Mia replied and gave a smile. Marbel and Mercy can't be shocked enough to see their friend talk about the same thing every time. They got to their classroom. Marbel got hit by her reminder, her brain though "oh, yes! before I forget..." the other girls turned to her and asked "What?" Marbel narrated "Gals..." that's a normal nickname they use instead of GIRLS "...Sally's birthday is on Saturday and she'll be giving out an invitation card..." "Invitation card?" the others asked loudly, though not too loud. "Yeah, an invitation card" Marbel answered and continued with her narration "She'll be 18 by then, and as our senior in school and us being one of the popular gangs in our school, she'll probably invite us too" Mercy cuts in "Well, that's not a big deal. I mean it's cool" Mia supported her "Yeah it's cool". Their teacher got into the classroom to teach. Different lessons held till they all heard: Ring Ring Ring! It was the school bell, dismissal time. Mia's driver was already awaiting her presence to take her home. The other girls were still waiting for their drivers. '3 M's!! Best friends forever!' they said as they hugged one another and bade Mia a bye. That's actually their friendship signal, they'd say that always. Mia quickly hopped in the car while the driver drove off. As the other girls were still in school, looking out from their class varanda discussing different achievements they dream to accomplish. That is something they love doing so well. Setting goals and working towards it. Their parents' are rich quite alright, but they want to make their own wealth. Sally the chief celebrant in a few days to come, cuts in their discussion "Hey gals!" a little bit startled, the girls turned to look at her "Oh! hi" they responded "Where is Mia?" Sally asked the girls "Her driver had taken her home already" Mercy answered. "Oh I see" Sally said and continued " uh..m it's alright though. I just want to give the invitation card to you gals. You're all invited to my birthday party. Every detail you wish to know about the party is in the card" and she handed three cards to the girls. "We really appreciate it" Mercy acknowledged and Marbel responded "We'll turn up. Happy birthday in advance ". Sally was so grateful to them "Thank you. I'll be going now, bye" and she made her way out "Bye" the girls replied. They quickly opened the card and read through it . Marbel immediately covered her mouth with her left hand as the right hand was holding the card. Mercy was caught by the details in the card too that she couldn't hold herself "Oh My Gosh!" Mercy exclaimed Marbel was forced to make a sentence " I doubt if Mia will agree to this" Mercy suggested, " Let's go visit her today in the evening. We have to deeply discuss this " "yeah, you're right. Around 4:30pm we'll make our way to her home" Marbel concluded the suggestion in agreement. "I'll give you a call by then. We'll get a cab to take us there and call our home drivers to drive us back home " Mercy made another suggestion which Marbel still agreed to. As if it was planned their drivers arrived at the same time. They bade each other bye and hopped in their different cars as the drivers drove them home. Mia's door bell rang out. Mia's mom, Mrs. Shawn, went straight to the door lock after finding out it was from the girls, Marbel and Mercy. "Come in" Mrs. Shawn urged them in "Thank you, Mrs. Shawn" they responded. They have been friends since elementary school. Their parents' are aware of their relationships and they are in support of it too. Mrs. Shawn quickly offered them seats as the girls still had their manners intact, and called on her daughter "Mia! Mia!" on hearing her mom call her name she responded quickly "Yes mom!" and ran down the stairs to the sitting room where her mom's voice cried out from. The other girls then called her "Mia" "Marbel and Mercy" she called their names too, "Welcome to my home. What brings you gals here?" Marbel went on to say "We need to discuss something so important now" Mercy suggested " let's go up to your room. it's a complicated issue." Mia was curious to know what her besties came to discuss with her that couldn't wait for the next day to reach to discuss it in school.Mia agreed "okay let's go up stairs to my room then" and she immediately informed her mom "Mom" "yes? my baby" Mrs Shawn answered with a question "we will be upstairs. The three girls squad got things to discuss " Mia replied and that made her mom burst into laughter for a while and commented "Sweetheart, you can go upstairs. I'm about to prepare supper, and I also have a lot to do" #vote#
