"Yesterday, I had a fight, with my- husband Tristan Emerson. He slammed the door and left."
Her answer to Fiona was faster than a shortcut way.
"So it's good news! Tristan Emerson must be really angry now. If you push the divorce paper now, he might just agree!" Fiona's voice was tinged with excitement upon hearing about their argument.
While Olivia walked to the window, as she fiddled with her nails, and imagining Fiona's faces. A woman with a beautiful face, but who gets ruined when exposed to the sun. In short, she's like a vampire who suckles Olivia's blood until she dies.
"Marcus suffering wouldn't be in vain. Olivia, this is a great opportunity. You must seize it!" Fiona added.
"Alright." Olivia didn't expose her sister Fiona's true intentions. She responded casually while hanging up the phone.
After three hours of waiting in the president's office, Olivia suddenly felt hungry. Her stomach rumbled but she didn't give up, she just lay on the sofa bed until her hunger subsided. She remembered that she had only had a glass of milk for breakfast earlier.
For two and a half hours, Olivia woke up from sleeping on the sofa bed. She got up and looked at Tristan's table but he was still not there.
"Where are you my love?" by asking this, she checks her phone but there is no response from him.
Until the time already reach at 4:00 PM. Some employees are already leaving their stations. But Olivia, still waiting for Tristan.
"Knock, knock"
Olivia quickly stood up, as if she had regained her composure, Tristan had finally arrived.
"Madam, Boss Tristan ordered me to bring you home now." the driver said.
Is that all? I told him I was waiting for him but he didn't even reply to me? Olivia's face was frowning as Tristan's private driver drove her home.
Due to not having a proper meal and stress from thinking too much, Olivia felt a weakness in her body, as if she was being crushed, bwhile the car had just entered the gate.
As soon as her feet hit the ground after getting out of the car, she immediately felt dizzy. She had taken three steps when she suddenly fell and lost consciousness.
"Oliv..?"
"Olivia..."
Olivia slowly opened her eyes, first she saw the beautiful view of the sky. Next was the face of the man standing in front of her.
The man was of medium height, with a pointed nose, pale skin and a muscular body. His aura was like a fairy-man.
"And who are you?" Olivia asked, as the man approached her and offered his hand, Olivia grabbed his hand to help her stand up.
"Just call me- Brandon." the man slightly smile.
"Do I know you? What is your business here, in my home?"
"I have a personal business with you." the man said. Olivia was stunned for a moment, she talked to herself, by saying, he is so cute.
The man was wearing a black suit, his long hair was tied in the middle, and his mustache was not thick and looked like it was just about to grow.
"With me?" Olivia wanted clarified.
"Don't worry, I won't bother you, I just showed up to help you, you suddenly passed out." The man said. That's right, Olivia remembered feeling dizzy earlier because her hunger had gone too far.
"Look!" Brandon pointed behind her.
Olivia's eyes suddenly widened to see herself lying on the ground while a house maid was leading her head, one fanning her. Then another maid suddenly arrived and they worked together to lift Olivia's unconscious body.
"It's me, it's my body- Did I die again!?" Olivia panics when she knows her condition.
"Nope!"
"But why are you here, why am I seeing you and talking to you? Am I a spirit?" Olivia's increasing voices.
"Absolutely, yes!"
"How can I get back to my body? I have to live?"
"You're not dead! You can return to your body whenever you want." Brandon respond.
"Is that all? okay? alright! so, your name is Brandon, how may I help you here?" Olivia asked him as if she wanted to end their conversation as long as possible.
"I'm here, watching you. I am your guardian for now!"
"Hahahaha" Olivia laughed out loud. Then she said, "Seriously? I already have a crow who always following me wherever I go. Now your saying that you are my guardian!"
"Me and the crow, are one" Brandon said.
"What?!"
Brandon shook his head and said, "I know you hear it clearly."
"Seriously, you are from the underworld?" Olivia said, as she touched his pale skin, in his face. She pulled on it, testing if it would stretch like a rubber band, and as she pulled, his head followed suit, rising and falling down.
"My face is not a magnet either, it's a real one." Brandon remind her.
"It's like a magic. Your real, you came from that place! Are you really the crow who's following me? since I returned?" Olivia's interesting voices.
"Yes, my mission is to become your temporary guardian!"
"Who told you that?" Olivia asked
Brandon frowned. "Hayst! Do I need to tell you everything? like a fairy tale story?"
"Okay Brandon, if you are the crow, my guardian. Just take your "day off" now" Olivia obviously wants the crow, to fly away, that keeps appearing to her wherever she goes. Thinking of it, she became like a witch.
"Did we sign an agreement before, for the two of us?" Brandon asked.
"No."
"So, better go to your body now. You make me sick!" Brandon said. He is not angry, but he's very irate. He turned his back on Olivia as if he wanted to disappear now from Olivia's eyes.
"Brandon wait!" Olivia called him.
"What now?"
"How would I do that?" Olivia asked for some clarifications and guidance.
"Just go near to yourself. And imagine everything is going fine, close your eyes, take a deep breath, and feel the pressure of yourself, from within." Brandon said, then there is a dark shadow evolve in his body, he started to transform to his form, as a crow and flew away.
"Brandon truly exist! he is the crow?!" Olivia's eyes widened.
