Mikayla POV The smell of burnt toast and coffee stings my nose, and my head throbs from drinking a few too many beers last night, but the pain is so worth it. I had forgotten how much fun it was at the lake. But it was those moments with Rafe that made it unforgettable. If I didn’t know any better, I would say that he felt this spark that was growing between us. God, the air when he is around is electrifying and exhilarating.
