The dream world felt different tonight.
The glowing river flowed quietly through the center of the dream city, reflecting the soft lights of buildings that seemed both familiar and new. Isabelle stood near the edge of the water, watching the lanterns drift slowly across the surface.
Beside her, Daniel looked across the expanding skyline.
“It’s definitely bigger,” he said.
Isabelle nodded.
“Last time we were here, the city ended just past those buildings.”
She pointed toward a distant area beyond the river.
But now something else stood there.
A large bridge.
Neither of them had created it before.
Daniel raised an eyebrow.
“Did you build that?”
Isabelle shook her head.
“No. Did you?”
Daniel laughed.
“Not that I remember.”
The bridge stretched across the glowing river, leading toward a part of the dream city they had never seen before.
Tall towers stood beyond it, their lights shining softly in the night.
Isabelle felt a quiet excitement.
“I guess the dream world kept growing even when we weren’t here.”
Daniel crossed his arms thoughtfully.
“That means the connection between our minds is still developing.”
Isabelle smiled.
“Then maybe the dream is learning on its own.”
Daniel looked toward the mysterious bridge.
“There’s only one way to find out.”
They began walking toward it.
The sound of their footsteps echoed gently on the quiet street. The dream city looked peaceful, almost magical beneath the star-filled sky.
As they stepped onto the bridge, the glowing river flowed beneath them like liquid light.
Isabelle leaned slightly over the railing.
“It’s beautiful.”
Daniel nodded.
“It feels calmer now.”
They continued walking until they reached the other side.
The new district of the dream city looked different from the original one.
The buildings were taller.
More modern.
Some of them even looked futuristic, with soft glowing windows and smooth curved shapes.
Isabelle looked around with fascination.
“This doesn’t look like anything in Paris.”
Daniel agreed.
“It feels like something from imagination rather than memory.”
They walked along a quiet street between the unfamiliar towers.
Suddenly, Isabelle noticed something strange.
“Daniel… look.”
At the center of the new district stood a tall circular building made entirely of glass.
Inside it, a large glowing structure hovered in the air.
Daniel stepped closer.
“Is that… a map?”
They walked inside the building.
The glowing structure in the center slowly rotated like a hologram.
And Daniel was right.
It was a map.
But not of the real world.
It was a map of the dream world.
Isabelle stared at it in amazement.
The glowing map showed the original dream city near the river.
It also showed forests, mountains, lakes, and other landscapes far beyond the city.
But the most surprising part was the size of it.
The dream world was enormous.
Far larger than they had imagined.
Daniel whistled softly.
“This place is huge.”
Isabelle pointed at one area glowing brighter than the rest.
“What’s that?”
The map zoomed in slightly as if responding to her curiosity.
A new location appeared.
A place far beyond the dream city.
Daniel frowned slightly.
“That wasn’t there before.”
Isabelle looked intrigued.
“What do you think it is?”
Daniel smiled.
“I guess we have a new destination.”
Isabelle laughed.
“Exploring our own dream world. That’s definitely not something most people can say.”
Daniel nodded.
“And who knows what we’ll find out there.”
As they left the building and stepped back onto the quiet street, the dream sky shimmered softly above them.
Their world was growing larger.
More mysterious.
And the deeper they explored it, the more they realized something important.
This dream was no longer just a place they visited.
It was becoming a universe of its own.
And somewhere far beyond the glowing city…
Something new was waiting to be discovered.
