Erika's Pov
I suddenly stepped on the brakes to stop my car because of a car cut in front of me. Fortunately, the car that was following me was far away so it didn't crash into the back of my car when I stopped in the middle of the road. The car that cut me didn't seem to care and just went straight. I immediately looked at my daughter where she was sitting.
"Are you okay, Rose? Are you not hurt?" I asked her worriedly.
Rose quickly shook her head although I could clearly see the fear on her face. "I'm okay, Mom."
I breathed a sigh of relief when I made sure she wasn't hurt. Good thing I didn't forget to fasten her seatbelt which I often forget to do. I hugged her tightly to relieve the fear she was feeling.
