Alpha Liam: Where is she?
Angelina: She’s upstairs in bed
Liam’s POV
Ang escorts Lisa and me to Layla’s bedroom. And just as Ang said her eyes are glowing blue.
Alpha Liam: Layla I came as soon as I heard. How are you feeling now?
Layla: To be honest a little better now that you are here.
Pack DR. Lisa: Hi Layla I’m the Pack Doctor Lisa. Can you stand? Are you feeling any pain?
Layla: Hey your James’s Mate, right?
Lisa: Yeah
Layla: Yea I can stand I just feel a little lightheaded.
Lisa: Ok can you guys step out of the room for a couple of minutes, please.
Ang and I step out the room leaving Layla with Lisa

Alpha Liam: We’ll be right downstairs if need anything.
Layla: OK thanks guys
Angelina: You're welcome
Lisa: Ok Layla I’m a need you to pee on this.
Lisa hands Layla a pregnancy test
Layla: Why? How does a pregnancy test help with my eyes glowing blue?
Lisa: I just need to rule it out

Layla goes to the bathroom to pees on the test stick
That Lisa gave her and waits.

Lisa: Layla hello Layla
When Layla doesn't answer Lisa goes into the bathroom
And finds Layla passed out on the floor

Liam runs upstairs
Alpha Liam: What happened?
Lisa: She passed out can you help me get her on the bed?
Alpha Liam: Yeah will she be ok?
Lisa: Yeah, I’m a draw some blood in a minute she is really exhausted let her rest.
Lisa walks back into the bathroom to check the
test and as she expected Layla’s pregnant.
Lisa (Mumbles) She’s pregnant
Alpha Liam: Wait What?
Lisa: She’s pregnant congratulations Alpha you will be a father.
But instead of being ecstatic Liam’s worried about how Layla will react to the news
Two days later
Layla wakes up to a room with bright white lights
And strong smell of disinfectant. She looks around and sees monitors and an IV attached to her.
Layla: (Thinking) Why the hell am in a hospital.
Layla looks around to see if there is a nurse around.
Layla: Ugh my head.
Nurse: Lisa she’s awake
Lisa: ok go get Alpha Liam. Let him know that The Luna is awake.

Lisa: Hey Layla you're awake. How are you feeling?
Layla: I feel like I got kicked in my head. Why am I here? What happened? And where are my kids?
Lisa: I know you have a lot of questions. But first, let me get your vitals and then Alpha Liam will be here to answer your questions and your kids are fine. They are in the Packhouse.
Layla nods her head groggily
Layla: Ok
Lisa: Seems like your fine just a mild headache from being out two days.
Layla: Two days?
Lisa: Yeah, you fainted in your bathroom. Don't you remember?
Layla’s POV
Shit, that's right my eyes were blue, and I was sick.
And then I saw two lines on the pregnancy stick.
Layla: I'm pregnant?
Lisa: Yes, that's why your eyes are blue.
Layla: That doesn't explain why my eyes are blue you forget that I have been pregnant before twice might add.
Lisa: (Laughing) Yes, I’m aware, But your pregnant by an Alpha Werewolf.
Layla: Do all women in this pack who become pregnant eyes turn blue?
Lisa: No, only those who become pregnant by an Alpha
And here I thought I had a choice
I started to feel my anger rise till I was hit with the most mouthwatering intoxicating scent of fresh rain and earthy forest. My heart started to hammer through my chest as the scent got stronger. At that moment I realized I wanted Liam no matter what
I would accept to be his Mate. Maybe it was my hormones or something else, but I didn’t care anymore all I knew is that he was mine and I wanted him by my side.
Layla: He’s here
Lisa: who is here?
Layla: Liam.
Lisa gives me a confused look and I give her side smirk

Just then Liam knocks on the door frame cutting Lisa off mid-sentence.
Lisa looks at me then Liam and bows to both of us before leaving.
Lisa: I’ll be leaving you two for a minute call me if you need anything.
Alpha Liam: Will do, Thank you, Lisa.
Lisa: Your welcome Alpha
Alpha Liam: Hey I came as soon as I heard your awake. How are you feeling?
Layla: better now that you are here. I missed you.
Liam smiles at me while looking at me with
the most loving look in his eyes.
Alpha Liam: I missed you too the kids are well they still don't know anything. I figured I’d wait till you were better so we can tell them together. Everyone in the Pack is under my strict orders not to shift or hint anything of the sort till we give them the order.
Layla: WE?
Alpha Liam: Yes, WE.
Layla: Thank you.
Alpha Liam: For what?
Layla: (laughing) Giving me a choice this time.
Liam gave me a heartsick look
Alpha Liam: Oh
Layla: so, I’ve been thinking about my choices and I’ve come to a decision.
I inwardly smirk to myself while not showing any emotion on my face or in my tone. Liam, on the other hand, looked like he was about to come apart.
Alpha Liam: Whatever your choice is I’ll respect it and no matter what I’ll still help you with whatever you need.
Layla: Good that makes my decision all the better.
I reply dryly with no hint of emotion which only makes Liam more nervous
End POV
Layla: I accept you Liam as my Mate.
Alpha Liam: I understand…
Liam looks down with a heavy heart
Layla: (laughing) I thought you said you would be the happiest wolf in existence?
Liam gives Layla a perplexed look and realizes he misheard her.
Alpha Liam: Wait you're accepting me as your Mate?
Layla: Yes, you i***t now come here and kiss me.
Alpha Liam: With pleasure my Luna.
