Chapter 5

Chapter 5 Kadens POV Goddess that wolf is going to make me work. As I walked out the room I had to readjust my shorts, she was hard to resist.  'My office, now' It was Alpha Daniel, which was weird considering he was supposed to be handling pack business. As I made my way down the stairs Leila stepped up them, pushing me against the railing as she did so. Her smell revolted me now I'd found Feyre, and I didn't hide my disgust. "What?" "Oh don't act that way Kaden, you know there's room in my bed for you tonight." She winked at me, which made me throw up a little in my mouth. She was one of the sluts of the pack and was always looking for a new bed buddy (I prefer saying that, it sounds nicer). She had nothing going for her though apart from the fact that she was easy, a lot of the unmated wolves would take a shot at her if they've been waiting for their mate for a couple of years. She kept looking me up and down, her eyes lingering on my package for longer than it needs to be. I pushed her away and made my way downstairs hearing her sigh behind me. Walking up to the door of Alpha Daniels office I knocked, hearing a small 'come in' and made my way to the sofa at the side of his office. "So, update me on your mate then." "Well, she seems a little hesitant about opening up to me. Feyre tries to pass by it, but I can feel it even though we aren't bonded yet. It's like an ache in my heart, but I know it's not from me." He looked at me for a minute and then went over to his bookcase. Confused I got up and followed him only to see him reaching for a blank book, confused I waited and watched as he pulled the book and let it go, the bookcase slid to the left and Alpha Daniel walked through as if nothing had happened.  The room was brick but you barely saw it behind all of the papers and books surrounding the walls, looking closer I realised they weren't random papers but they were our history. Alpha Daniel was stood by the desk looking around all the papers spread on the oak slab, he seemed to have found what he needed and came over to me. "I'd read before about the possibility of feeling your mates emotions before but I couldn't remember where, that's when I saw this." He showed me the paper and at the top my eye was drawn to a drawing, it was of a silver wolf with purple eyes, it had a mark on its right shoulder of the crescent moon.  "That is the wolf of the Moon Goddess, Selene, she is said to be the one who saved us in our most trying time, and according to the text she will come back to us when we need her most. Not only this but her mate is supposed to be able to feel her emotions before the bonding." Alpha Daniel was looking directly at me as he said this and it took me a minute to get what he was talking about. "Wait you think Feyre is that wolf?" I scoffed as Daniel held his gaze, looking back at the wolf there was something that drew me to her. Grabbing the paper I folded it and put it in my pocket. Walking out of the room and office I headed towards the back of the packhouse. "You mention nothing of this to her!" The drawing held my mind as I leant against a wall, she seemed so familiar. I wasn't going to question her about this until she felt comfortable. Goddess knows she doesn't need questions that could make her run off before I had marked her. Feyre was mine and nothing was going to come between us, not my history and not questions about her past. Continuing towards the back of the packhouse I saw Graham sitting on the porch eating a sandwich, I stole the other half of his food and sat next to him on the bench. "Hey dipshit, thats my sandwich!" "Yes and it is mighty delicious, thank you very much." Graham seemed insulted but I knew he loves it when his food is complemented so I get to steal as much as I want. He was a hunter like me, but his main passion was his food. If it was up to me he wouldn't be a hunter but a chef, however, due to his fathers station in the pack previously it was expected of him to become a hunter. "Where's your mate at then big shot?" Graham had already heard and it didn't surprise me, gossip travelled fast in this pack. "She's in my room getting sorted." Just as I said that I smelt her beautiful pine and mint scent. Feyre came through the door, plopped herself between my legs and stole the rest of my sandwich. "Thank you." I just stared at her as she started talking to Graham, she had the most beautiful skin I'd ever seen, with freckles everywhere. I was so transfixed with her presence I hadn't even noticed that she had stopped talking to Graham and was staring at me. "What?" I felt her move between my legs until she was facing me. "Why did you not tell me you were a hunter?" Graham was snickering next to me which made me want to punch him so hard in the face. "I didn't think it was important, why?" Raising an eyebrow she kept her eyes on me. I could feel a pull at the back of my brain, I opened up to it and the next thing I knew astounded me. Why did you try and use an Alpha command on me in the woods then? Feyre was actually mindlinking me, this was impossible without a bond, whether that be a mate or pack bond, but here she was. I remained confused as she kept her eyes on me, but she soon returned to her conversation with Graham. I felt another pull in my head and quickly opened my block to it. You are in for some s**t if you don't explain after this. She had out right threatened me, and to be honest, I was petrified. Gulping I snaked my arms around her waist, embracing the sparks as I felt she wouldn't be letting me touch her soon. "So, is there anything I need to know or worry about with this guy? Or is it all sunshine and daisies?" With a little smirk Graham was about to open his mouth and spill, but there was no way I was going to let that happen. My arms wrapped around Feyres waist and pulled her up with me, her legs wrapped around me on instinct and she gave a little gasped, I ran through the packhouse back to my room without letting her go.  "Alright, you got me all to yourself. Now spill the beans honey." Feyre was looking down at me from her position against me, I was still holding her but I hadn't realised where my hands were. I squeezed slightly trying to take her mind as well, her eyes went wide and before I could think her lips were crushing into mine. Groaning in satisfaction, I pushed her against the bedroom wall, closing the gap between us I could feel her pressed against me. My tongue licked her lips wanting her to give me entrance but she refused, I tried again and she still refused this time biting down on my bottom lip. My d**k twitched as she sucked my bottom lip into her mouth, she then pulled away keeping her green eyes locked on me as we both got our breath back. "Don't think this gets you out of anything, Kaden I still want an answer." She dropped herself down and sat on the edge of the bed, waiting for me to answer her. Sighing, I made my way over and sat down next to her, ready to tell her my story.
