It has been a couple of days since Lauren told us about the cursed amulet in Colton's hospital room. Tay has done her thing but hasn't found out anything alluding to the amulet. She found plenty on our famous Pirate ancestor William Theodore Bancroft, however. He was of English aristocracy, an Earl no less. The Earl of Grainger, abandoned the family when he was 20 years old for adventure on the high seas. He became the most feared pirate in the Caribbean during the Golden Age of Piracy. He fell in love with a beautiful Haitian priestess and as far as our family has always known, the rest was history. Scratch that, as far as Theo, Tay, and I have known. Lauren's mother has worked for my grandfather for twenty years now and heard the story from him. I'm more than a little intrigue
