"Alexa, why don't you just try this one?" my mom said convincingly. "Mom," I looked straight into her eyes and placed my hand on her shoulder. "I'm not in for blind dates. I've got work to do," I said with a stern look. "Just try it out!" she pleaded, still trying to convince me. "Mom, just let her be. She'll be fine," Justin, my older brother, said. "You too?! All of you are pushing me out," my mom said angrily, storming out. I sighed tiredly. "Just get to work, Lexa. Okay?" Justin reassured me. "Mr. Patrick is waiting at the office." "That's right," I said, then walked out of the house and straight to the garage. I opened the door of my car and drove out of the compound. **************************************"* Sydney paced around the office. She was panicking. "Where the f**k is Brian?" she screamed. She was wearing a black suit with trousers in her office. Her smooth, tumbling black curls flowed gracefully down the length of her spine. Her eyelashes were long and attractive, her eyes radiant and lovely. Her lips were full and gorgeous. Everything about her was beautiful. She had been waiting for Brian for the past thirty minutes. She had a really bad temper, which often led to awful things. Brian finally walked into her office. Sydney looked at him immediately, anger blazing in her eyes. She grabbed an object and threw it at him. He barely ducked it in time. "Where have you been?" Sydney screamed. "I'm... I'm... I'm so sorry, ma'am," Brian stammered in fear. "I have a flight to catch!" she snapped. Miss Bianca, her assistant, who had heard the commotion, rushed into the office. "Calm down, Miss Sydney" Bianca said nervously. "Don't tell me to calm down!" Sydney screamed again. She stormed out, kicking over a flower pot and shoving Brian aside. He was discussing the hotels and bars with me, pointing out the documents that required my signature. The building's journal still needed certain facilities, but I was ready to take full responsibility. My father had died when I was just ten years old. Evil people, desperate to steal his business and property, had killed him. That memory haunted me-a wound I carried for years. I remembered crying my eyes out that day, the pain so sharp it felt unbearable. But with time, I learned to live with it. After resting for a while, it was 8:00pm already, Barbara called and I got dressed up and went to the bar she suggested. I wore an armless short red gown. I styled my hair and wore a silver dazzling earrings. I got to my car and drove to the bar. Entering, I sighted Barbara, I walked up to her and hugged her. Barbara was a beautiful lady, she had the sexiest curves and she had long black curly hair with grey eyes, beautiful lips, short eyelashes and a lovely personality. I was walking on my own , when you drink, that's why you are speaking gibberish " He had a half-smile on his face "I can see you are very rude. Do you know who I am?" "Oh yes I know who you are . An i***t, that's what you are " I hissed and walked out. "f**k you ... Bloody asshole" He screamed from behind . I went into the restroom and cleaned up myself. After some minutes, I left the restroom and went to Barbara. The music was so loud and even Barbara was getting intoxicated.
