Naira POV
Morning arrived far too quickly, and I hadn't been able to sleep well at all. I found that all my luggage and belongings had already been packed. I tried many times to reach Ignis, but she remained stubborn and kept blocking herself from me.
Alisa knocked on the door and entered carrying a long white dress. “Luna asked me to bring this to you so you can get ready.”
I muttered sarcastically, “Really? Do I have to wear this too? As if I'm some bride. No, wait... I mean a bride who was sold like merchandise.”
I took the dress and threw it onto the floor before picking up the black pants and black shirt I had prepared to wear instead.
They carried all my luggage outside, and I left shortly afterward, glancing around my room, perhaps for the last time.
I walked out to the waiting area in front of the castle, and it was nearly eight o'clock.
The surprise was finding my friends Ethan and Aurelia there, along with my mother and Seraphina.
“I told them last night so they could say goodbye to you,” Seraphina said sadly.
Aurelia ran toward me first and hugged me tightly. “I'm going to miss you so much.”
Then Seraphina joined us and hugged me so tightly that I thought my bones would break.
We pulled away from each other, and tears began gathering in my eyes. Ethan stood in front of me for a few moments before opening his arms.
I immediately threw myself into his embrace.
He hugged me tightly before saying sadly, “Why didn't you tell us, Naira? I—”
The sound of powerful engines suddenly echoed through the sky.
Everyone lifted their heads.
We watched as a massive black private jet approached the landing area near the Pack House.
The aircraft landed smoothly.
Its appearance alone was enough to demonstrate Alpha Nightshadow's influence.
A few minutes later, a man wearing an elegant black suit stepped out.
He approached us with steady steps. “Naira?”
I nodded. “That's me.”
He didn't say another word and immediately picked up my luggage. “The aircraft is ready for departure.”
Ethan approached me one final time and hugged me tightly.
Of course, neither my father nor Raithan had shown up.
As for Kailan, he was locked in his room until I left.
I caught sight of Morgana spitting while watching from one of the castle windows with a smug expression. I completely ignored her.
Everyone standing there was crying hard. They were powerless to help me, and that hurt them deeply, but I truly didn't blame them at all.
After I boarded the private jet, the door closed behind me immediately.
I walked slowly inside and sat in one of the luxurious leather seats near the window.
Only a few minutes passed before the engines roared to life, and the aircraft shook slightly before beginning to move down the runway.
I felt tears filling my eyes as I stared out the window.
Outside, I could see my friends and family for the last time.
Ethan, Aurelia, and Seraphina stood beside my mother, waving to me as the distance between us grew larger and larger.
I pressed my lips together tightly, trying to stop myself from breaking down.
Then the aircraft began to rise.
Within minutes, the entire Pack disappeared beneath layers of white clouds, and there was no longer any trace of the place where I had lived my entire life.
And now...
I was truly alone.
There was nothing familiar around me anymore.
Only the unknown waiting for me at the end of this journey.
And a cold, merciless monster named Draven Nightshadow.
It felt as though my heart had shattered into a thousand tiny pieces.
I had lost everything.
My friends.
My family.
My home.
My entire previous life.
The Mate I had never found.
And my wolf, who had isolated herself from me.
