The Beauty of Death

Characters: 1. Main character: Amaya Morana Fellderman - first born to her family. Witch. Skilled in necromancy. not an accepted skill as it is always stuck in a negative, bad stigma.  2. Amaya's mother and father = Arnold and Renae Fellderman 3. Jackson Blackwoode = Vampire master who first purchases Amaya 4. Briar Lucifer Barclay = Son to the second in line for alpha king. His mate is Amaya. 5. Lilith = Briar's mistress, his play thing. also a witch that his parents purchased for him to use however he wanted. 6. Anne - Briar's little sister. attaches herself to amaya immediately, her first friend. points to cover:  1. how she comes to accept her skill when she has always been taught to hate and avoid those who have the skill. 2. how she finds romance in a time of personal conflict and in the cast system that has taken over the world.  3. explains the worlds system. Where the most powerful families (werewolves, vampires, goblins, etc) use witches as a way to stay in power. witches, if they are the first born and of a certain age, are taken to a location via car where an auction takes place and the witch goes to their highest bidder.  4. How the witch society in this world works. They are at the bottom of the totem pole compared to the other races, but within their own society the families get money from their first born being sold to other families.  5. family tries to hide her from the fate of so many but fail.  6. how does she find romance in such a dire situation after being sold to one of the most prosperous families in the world.  scenes: 1. family's home, a farmhouse located in the hills at the base of a mountain range. lots  of wildlife. a safe house located in a cave that is built to hide Amaya when enforcers ( a type of police) come looking for her.  It is a pleasant place, and also where Amaya first discovers her special skill is necromancy.  2. the auction: a sacred old building, looking like an old sports complex. while run down it holds a kind of austere and powerful aura around it. inside is dark and cold, the seating areas where the bidders are seated during the auction are in shadow with the only bright lights centered on the middle of floor where one by one the witches are brought so all attention is on them. the area where the witches wait for their turn is a nice lounge that has all the amenities they could desire, one would almost say its like fattening up the sacrificial pig before the slaughter. they have their makeup done and their hair and are given spa treatments since these auctions can take days to conclude. 3. her buyer's home: a friendly place on the outside, covered in gardens! Imagine a english cottage with morning glories creeping up the side of gorgeous stone siding via white trellis. But the size of it is that of a Grande mansion. The inside however is haughty and austere, all the signs of a family that likes to gloat and ostentatiously show off their wealth and remind those who visit, and those who "work" for them, that they are below them. 4. the home of her romantic interest: The Royal family of the werewolfs. Leading alpha is the younger brother to the current alpha king. He is second in line to the throne. Amaya is his son's mate, but amaya is not aware of this as she is a witch! This is where they first meet when she goes with her master to be pitted against that families recently acquired witch.  the families are friends but when it is realized that the mate of the families son is none other than their friend's witch (amaya) a wager is placed and the results create a rift between friend's and a conflict is looming on the horizon.
