Lycan's Doom

Lilah's Pov It was like every other morning in the lycan's house, every servant goes about their daily activities. It hasn't been the same for me since I got here. I was treated like every other Omega. " You are the new servant?" an elderly woman asked me, rating me with her eyes. She must be the Rose, I have heard about how strict she is. "Yes ma" I nodded looking at my feet. As an Omega we have been told that we are not worthy to look anybody in the eyes, except if the person asks to. "Where have you worked before?" "White Crystal Pack" "That’s good, am sure you know the rules that apply in every Pack's house" "yes" "So we are good, you will be cleaning the Lycan's room today. And make sure to always be fast, because he doesn't like servants, especially Omega loitering in his room. "Yeah, she has to remind me of my place. Typical loyal wolf. "What's your name?" "Lilah" she nodded and left. I was shown to the Lycan's room. I did the cleaning fast and left. My remaining day went quietly, my movement was restricted, I can't go out without the Lycan or any other higher up approving it. I hated my stay in this house already. I miss Crystal Pack, I miss Clint, even if he refused to mate me, I understand it all. What was I expecting that he would accept me. My heart hurt anytime I remember him, he must be having a nice time now with one of his whores. That day kept on living free in my head, but I always try my best to forget it, but my heart seems not to, there is this voice in my head whispering that he will recognize me one day, but after I got kidnapped that voice seem to die down. The following morning, my body felt weird. I tried to stand up and go about my daily activities, but my body was lagging behind. I went to the Lycan's room. I was still cleaning the bedside lamp, when the whole atmosphere in the room became heavy. "What are you doing here?" out of fear I made the mistake of looking up, I saw his eyes and I looked down immediately. "ehm ehm, am clen…." "Get out of here," he growled. I was frightened, I picked up cleaning material and scurried out of the room. Shit what have I done, I have managed to make another enemy on my second day, that man reeks of power. I pray he doesn't make my life miserable like Clint. I was pacing around my cubicle, when my door flew open. "do you have to be so sloppy, you have only one job to do, but no it's not enough to make you concentrate." Rose shouted angrily. I guess the Lycan have complained about me to her. I didn’t know what to say to her, and she continued. "What happened there?" didn’t he tell her already. I narrated how he caught up with me. She sighed. "You won't be cleaning his room again," she stomped off. I was happy, it seemed as if a huge burden had been lifted off my shoulder. At least I don’t have to worry about him again. It has been two weeks since my incident at the Lycan. I just came back from my duty, and saw Hailey, my roommate crying. I rushed to her bed. "Hailey, what is it, what happened?" she kept on sobbing, I hugged her. "it’s a personal matter, '' she said. I nodded and stayed with her till her sobbing died down. She stood up to leave but her legs were wobbly, I held and made her sit back. " where are going" "I want to go and finish my work" "are you sure you can in this your state" "I have to try" she made to stand up again, but her leg failed her. q "Rest up, I will help you" "You can't. it’s the Lycan's room" I was stiff for a moment. "and I have to be fast before he returns." she lamented and made to stand up again but her leg gave up on her. 'I will do it, how long do you have before he comes back? ' I asked. She looked at the clock hanging on the wall. "Twenty minutes" she said looking at me, knowing that it's impossible to clean his huge body within such a short time. I patted her shoulder and hurried out of the room. I tried being fast at cleaning, checking my time, luckily I did shabby work so as not to be caught by him. But I pray he doesn't notice. I scurried out of his room, when I got to the staircase I saw his back entering his room. I thanked my god and went to my room. I told Hailey some of the places I didn’t clean, for her to revisit them tomorrow. "Who cleaned the Lycan's room yesterday?" Rose asked as she barged into our room, directing the question to Hailey. She turned and looked at me, afraid that he noticed that the room wasn’t cleaned properly. "It's me," Hailey said, shaking with fear. "Follow me" Hailey looked, and nodded at me before she left. I paced around the room, wondering what would happen to her. Few minutes later the door opened and I saw her come in, staring at me. "what happened" "The Lycan wants to see you" my eyes almost bulged from my socket. "He caught up on my lie" I nodded. And we both left the room "Is he angry?" I asked as we approached his room. "What do you expect from a Lycan, that was lied to" I nodded my head, I thought as much. "But did he tell you the reason he wants to see the person that cleaned his room" "No, he only asked me a few question and requested that I come get you" "Come in" a voice said from inside before we could knock. We went in, I didn’t look up, but from the legs I saw, there was an extra person in the room. "You can now go" I recognized the voice it belong to the Lycan , he said Hailey. " you come closer" I moved closer to his desk. The second person was sitting down on the couch.
