Everyone had finished their breakfast, were dressed, and ready for their day when Jimmy arrived at the door to Callie’s suite. They had not yet started work, and they were already stressed. It was the day before the party, and many things still had to be done before it took place. The weather was complicating that, and everyone was beginning to wonder if the party would go smoothly or not.
“Where’s my favorite niece?” Jimmy grinned as soon as Mark opened the door to the suite.
“I’m right here,” Maya giggled as Callie tied her shoes for her.
“Jimmy, I’m putting Maya in sneakers and dressing her for inside play. If you go outside today, let me know, and I will take a quick break and get her bundled up,” Callie said as she stood, and Maya ran to hug her Uncle Jimmy.
