One of the great things about having a lover from my own generation was understanding each other. On the flip side, Cole and I rapidly became quite predictable. Maybe we understood each other a little too well. In any case, we were both really looking forward to getting JoJo back and having that different viewpoint to bounce off. I’d be the first to admit that part of his appeal, from the very beginning, lay in revisiting the Young People Experience. He was having it for the first time. Everything was new and exciting, or scary, or puzzling. And because the world had changed so enormously, much of JoJo’s experience was fresh for me too.
