CHAPTER 1 - The news of unwanted marriage
JORDYN’S POV
“I can see that Dad’s death didn't mean anything to you and you are just obsessed with getting me married to anyone that offers even a piece of cake,” I yelled at my mom in frustration.
“Don’t you dare say that to me”
“I am a victim of this sadness and pain just as much as you are,” my mum responded, her hair flinging out carelessly.
“But Dad would never allow this to happen,” I retorted in pain. My father was involved in a car accident a few weeks ago and things have never been the same.
We could barely afford to feed in the house. There was very little my mum could do.
“Your dad is not alive now, is he?”
“Face the reality”
“We are broke, the company is bankrupt, the banks have taken our cars, and the only thing we have is this house which we don't even know how long we can still stay here”.
My face was dampened with disgust and my jaws were clenched. There had to be some sort of solution to all this mess. I can't stand being forced to marry the Smith family, especially not Simon.
Simon would humiliate me. My mind flashed back to those times when he and his friends would make fun of me by calling me names. He would call me “red-faced piggy”.
I would never forget how I cried when he and his friends would splash actual animal poop at me and on the way where I passed while they make fun.
I was traumatized and the day he relocated was my happiest day but I am now meant to marry him. No, I won't live with a monster.
“Mum, there has to be something we can do”
“I won't accept it,” I retorted, nodding my head in disagreement.
“And what can we do, eh?”
“Or do you have somewhere you can get money from?”
“I see your friend, Stella, and how she comes here to teach you all sorts of nonsense”
“Can she pay your bills?”
“Come to think of it, what are those wrapped stuff beside your pillow?” my mom asked, her eyes distracted by something she saw.
Sh*t. I am in trouble. I thought I had hidden it well before she came into my room. But who cares? Dad is dead and we are all trying our best to survive.
“Mum, it's nothing,” I said innocently, using my body to cover the powder but I guess she had already seen it.
“Move away,” my mum said aggressively as she shoved me to the side and got to the White powder substance.
My mum's face lit up with surprise. I could sense the feeling of disappointment in her eyes.
“So you now sniff cocaine, eh?” she said.
“I am trying to ensure that you don't become a nobody and you still have a life to live but is this how to want your life to look like?”
“Who gave you this, by the way?”
“Oh, never mind, I know who.”
“It must be that stupid girl, Silver.”
“Does that girl look like someone you should have around you?” my mother yelled as she headed to the bathroom I guess to flush away the substance.
“Mum, what are you doing?”
“Where are you going?” I demanded as I followed her from behind.
My mum ignored me as she reached the toilet and opened the seat.
“Mum, you can't do that,” I said as I dragged her by her dress.
I can't afford to let her throw away the substance. I haven’t even started sniffing it. What would I tell my best friend, Silver, when she asks me for it? She told me that she was going to come for it this evening.
“You must be crazy, watch me,” my mum said as she threw away the powdered substance into the toilet and flushed it despite my struggles to stop her.
F*ck! This must have cost a lot of money. What would I tell Silver?
Just as she left the toilet, there was a knock on the door.
“Jordyn!”
“Jordyn!”
SIMON’S POV
I could hear voices from the sitting room. I knew that they were discussing who I would get married to. My parents have been warning me about bringing a wife home soon, but I am not ready. I just want to have fun and f*ck bitches.
I heard Jordyn’s name more than once. I hope she’s not the one they want me to marry.
My mum soon left the room, while I quickly sneaked back into my room so that she didn't recognize that I was eavesdropping.
“Why do you look so stressed?” my mum said, noticing that something was up but I didn't say anything.
“Anyways, we have agreed that you would be getting married very soon”
“You can finally become a man and do away with your youthfulness”
Why would my mum want me to do away with my youth? I am just 27 for God’s sake. All these marriage talks were pissing me off.
“You remember Jordyn right?” mum asked.
My eyebrows opened in surprise as I flinched.
“Jordyn?” I asked.
“Yes, Jordyn”
“You know her, don't you?”
“You were close when you were younger,” Mum responded.
“We were not close, Mum,” I retorted.
“I disliked her”
“I made fun of her many times”
“That girl is a piece of sh*t. She was fat and creepy”
“I am sure she still is”
“How do you expect me to live under the same roof with her”
“Mum, even if you and Dad have to pick a woman for me, are there no better women around?”
“Jordyn is a nerdy b*tch. She always wore her stupid glasses around as if she was an abortion doctor”
“Nothing is interesting about her”
“Nothing!”
“Look, son, that was many years ago”
“You can't be so naive to think that her looks would remain like it was years ago”
“And this deal also means we get to take over their company”
“That could be some good news for our empire,” Mum said calmly.
“Mum, so this is all about business to you, isn't it?”
“I knew it,” I said, clenching my fists.
“Come on, son,” Mum said with an encouraging smile.
“You will get to like her eventually,” she patted my back tiredly as if she was over with the conversation.
“Anyway, I still don't care about her”
“We may be married on paper and just because of my inheritance but I just hope that she doesn't expect that I would be faithful to her”
“We are doing her a favor here”
“I am a man and I have needs, s****l needs”
“I can't possibly be satisfied with whatever she offers”
“Whatever, son,” mum said resignedly.
I couldn't allow these issues to disturb my peace. My major care in this life is to have bitches around so even if I have a wife, she would just be like an addition to one of my bitches.
But Jordyn? Well, I hope her nerdy looks would have improved a bit.
I checked her profile on both LinkedIn and i********: but I didn't find what I was looking for until I searched for her on Snapchat. At least, I need to know what she looks like now compared to those days.
“Wow!” I said out loud as I scrolled through her pictures.
She was looking much different from what I expected. My goodness! Her curves were giving hot baddie.
Honestly, her face still looked the same and her cheeks were still a bit puffed but damn! She has grown.
I was lost in her photos for a few minutes. Her thighs were so hot.
“This might not be so bad to have on my bed,” I said excitedly.
Who would have thought that Jordyn would have these sexy videos? I mean, her twerking videos were getting my John Thomas hard. I couldn't believe that the girl I used to bully and call fat back was getting me turned on.
I tried to put away the pictures and do something else but I couldn't. I reached for my Jean trousers and unzipped them in an attempt to get myself some action but just as I was about to get started, I heard a voice from behind as someone barged into my room unannounced.
“Simon!”
