The crowd is too big to pin point any single person, I follow my nose. I know I’m getting close, looking around I’m getting frustrated why can’t I find her?

“Mate, right in front of us"

“Where?

All I see is The Alphas son…

Oh f**k No!! I am not gay, nothing against being gay but that is not me.

“i***t not him, she's in front of him"

“Thank the goddess” I was about to start rampaging

I look past him but still I’m not seeing what Onyx does, suddenly I look down. Tiny thing?

Are you telling me that tiny fragile little girl is supposed to be my mate?

“yes" onyx answers my thoughts although I did not actually say them to him.

“Really goddess? s**t she is also the daughter of Alpha Moore, I wont be able to just grab her and leave.

how am I supposed to go about this?

Why isn’t she looking at me?

All she sees is that pup in front of her.

I’m mad

how do I get her attention away from him. I’m just going to go up and claim her for all the world to see. That will handle the problem.

I start walking to her, I refuse to move out of that pups way so I almost walk through him pushing him to the side.

I reach the tiny thing and put my arm on her shoulder. I’m about to claim what is mine so everyone knows she is my mate.

What the hell?

I’m on my back?

That tiny thing, did she really just throw me to the ground?

She is looking at me, she reminds me of a kitten that’s backed into a corner

Ahh f**k kitty has claws!!!

I reach for my groin as I feel the sting from her latest assault. The electricity shooting through my body makes my whole body cramp I want to puke.

Looking back at the little kitten I see she’s ready for another attack, I hear my Beta actually cheering her on, f*****g traitor.

Before she can stomp on my d**k a second time I finally say

“mate….”

I hate myself at this moment how could my words come out so weakly. I want to crawl into a hole and die.

Great first impression ass.

Tiny thing looks horrified as she gasps covering her mouth with her hands. She is turning red from embarrassment.

She's Adorable.

I’m not even mad, how can I be when this little one so fiercely protected herself from the unknown. If it wasn’t for the fact I’ll probably never be able to have children now I might even be proud that she is mine.

She is still looking shocked, everyone is watching us but no one is moving or making a sound.

I use her shock to get to my feet and before she can unleash another round of attacks I grab her and pull her in for a kiss.

Why I kissed her I can’t explain but if I feel this every time our lips meet I don't know if I’d ever want to stop.

What am I doing?

I was supposed to keep her at arms length, did her attack disarm more than just my body?

I let her pull away and catch her breathe. I can see the confusion and realization set in on her. She looks so lost.

“ I see you've met my Daughter, Abra"

I access the situation; everyone is on edge. I realize they are worried because in a normal situation if someone attacked a visiting Alpha the way tiny thing had, it could mean war. I need to defuse the situation, especially if I plan on taking her with me tonight…

I look at my kitten and can’t help but smile, breaking into laughter I pull myself together enough to say

“its appears I have, MY little one certainly knows how to make an introduction, doesn’t she"

I make sure to put emphasis on My. She is mine now, my little kitten, the tiny thing. I’m not completely hating this.

“Tiny thing, go get some things together so we can leave.”

She looks up at me with a confusion, then her cheeks turn pink as she realizes what has begun.

“Alpha Masters, you don't intend to take my daughter away with you tonight?”

“Alpha Moore, that is exactly my intention. I have been away from my pack for over a week now. Do you expect me to return without my mate?”

They have no say in the matter, they can’t use the treaty against my claim like they had with Matt and he knows it. If he denies me it’d be in my right to cause waves maybe even start a war. I have no intention of doing it but the threat of it lingers in the air.

“Dad” my kitten says grabbing the alphas arm.“Its okay, I want to go with him tonight. You don’t have to worry about me, as long as I am with my mate I will be okay.”

Alpha Moore studies his daughter not finding any hint of deception from her words which secretly filled me with joy. She called me her mate.

Wait shut up brain don’t get all soft over nothing.

My inner battle will have to wait while this mess is sorted out.

“of course my daughter, you better run upstairs and grab some items before you go.”

I watch as the protective father was hidden behind the face and strength of the alpha.

As my kitten and her sister make their way to the house, Alpha Moore and his Luna lock eyes with me.

“Come now Alpha Masters let’s go inside an wait for Abra to get her stuff together. Girls have lots of things so it might be awhile.”

“It would probably be easier if you just have her grab a few things and tomorrow we can make arrangements to have the rest of her things sent to my pack.”

“yes, yes that would be best" he agrees.

He walks me to the lounge and pours 2 glasses of scotch. Offering me one. I accept and join him taking a seat into one of the Dark brown leather chairs in the corner.

“Alexi, it seems the moon goddess has blessed you with a wonderful mate, but I worry with your packs history, you will treat her well yes? My Abra is a special girl. She can be awkward at times and has a tendency to forget her place in front of others but she has a good heart. Promise me you'll be patient with her.”

We are not talking as two alphas, this man is now just a father who loves his daughter and is frightened for her future. I wonder how bad it can be for him to worry so. I guess she did attack me when I went to speak to her. Is that the norm for her?

I hope so…

“Sir, I promise you she will be okay with me. Try not to stress about our history, like her I am a work in progress but hopefully we can grow together.”

Why did I answer so honestly, maybe because its been so long since I felt a fatherly presence.

“Thank you my boy.”

“Alexi where are you?” matt links me

“I’m sorry sir but my beta is requesting my attention. I’ll be back shortly.”

I find matt loading things into the SUVs 4 have already left leaving only 2 here. The one I drove here with matt is crammed full. There is stuff everywhere leaving only the front 2 seats.

“what is all of this?”

“uh well its violets stuff" he says scratching the back of his head

“I see"

“So anyway, Finn was supposed to ride with us for the trip home but as you can see no room.”

“so you want me and tiny thing to ride with him?”

“Is she coming? She was so awesome, the look on your face when she took you down. I love that girl already!!”

“Mine!!”

Shit what was that, why did I say that?

“you got it bad and you don’t even know it. That small girl must of stolen your heart when she snatched your pride”

I already know I’m never going to hear the end of how I met my mate. I’m happy he seems so amused…. d**k

“Well violet and I are going to head home so she can start getting situated at the house. It’s a 2 hour drive so it’ll be midnight before we make it there.”

“Alright man, drive safe. I’m sure we wont be far behind you.”

I make my way back to the house. Hopefully the little kitten hurries up we have a long drive ahead of us.
