New Parents

A babies cry broke the silence of the windy winter night, the power had gone out and the cozy cabin was starting to get a little cold. It was surrounded by trees on all sides so it was a little protected from the snow and wind. Inside two of the four occupants were awake, a third one struggling to wake up.

The black Tempest Demon moved through the house as silent as a ghost. Ignoring the pain around his midsection as he made his way quickly from the bedroom to the nursery, the main bedroom was right next door but the younger of the two adult males in the house had't gotten around to putting in a door to connect the two rooms, despite a large amount of bugging from the older male.

"Hey there little guy... shh shh, dont wake your brother, your okay." The Demon whispered softly to the unhappy baby, reaching his hand out the Demon stroked the babies unbelievably soft cheek with his fingertip. "your okay... did you miss your mommy?" The male Demon lifted the baby from the crib, careful not to disturb the other twin who was luckily still sleeping.

"Kai...?" The Demon looked up as a very sleepy (and in his opinion very sexy) Angel moved into the room with a cup of coffee, the Angel looked between the Demon and the baby, a soft affectionate smile on his face before it faded with a yawn. "Your supposed to be on bed-rest Kai... Zeran said you'd need at least another week to heal from the c-section." The Angel smiled softly again as he came closer to the Demon and the baby, the little baby giggled as the male he got his soft blond hair from placed a little kiss on his cheek.

"Hello sweet baby boy... which one are you..." The Angel hummed as he stroked his sons cheek, moving his body so he could hug both his husband and his child.

"this is Zodiac you silly Angel... Zodiac Rose." The Demon smiled softly at the Angel and pressed a soft kiss to his Bonded's lip. "I love you Ethan Rose" The Demon stated softly after the kiss broke, the Angel pressed another kiss to his husbands lips before pressing one to the top of Zodiac's head.

"ill go put some firewood in the wood furnace, make you some of your favorite tea and ill set up a bottle for this guy, unless you want to feed him directly~" the Angel said the last part suggestively with a mischievous grin. The Demon blushed and pushed the Angel away.

"Go away Ethan, you made my chest sore enough last night when you had a taste." The Demon laughed at the Angel's pout and waved him off as he headed out towards the kitchen and living room.

His laugh sadly woke the other twin child and the night was once again filled with the sound of a near newborn crying
