The Alpha's Mate

Episode 3- Aria

Those idiots! For once I was trying to do something other than drool over Tyler but his and his stupid friend, Brad, have to make an entrance everywhere they go. Today is my 18th birthday but I don't feel any different yet, sometimes they say you have to be close enough to your mate to touch them to realize they are your mate. But I knew I had time to find him. For right now, I was going to enjoy being able to still fantasize about Tyler. Him and his Beta always trained first thing in the morning and after they finished was when I trained. My parents are guardians, which means they are pretty high in the pack order and since our family determines our rank, I am being trained as a guardian too. When Tyler takes over as Alpha, my generation of guardians will take over as the protectors of the pack. 

"There you are! I have been looking everywhere for you!" 

"Mandy, I don't know why you wouldn't start here. You know I come here every morning to watch the Alpha and Beta train to learn some of their strategies and tactics." 

"Yeah I am sure that's exactllyyyy why you come here so early every morning!" My best friend knew how deep my feelings were for Tyler and was the only person who hoped for me that he would end up being my mate. We giggled and she sat down next to me. She whispered so that no one else could hear and said "Happy Birthday, I hope today is the day you have been waiting for!"  I smiled at her and went back to watching.
