"Seriously? you don't serve any food in the dungeon?" I snapped at the Alpha with arms crossed inside my own jail, at least they treated me to a room alone like a ten star suite.
The Beta growled next to the Alpha obviously not liking my attitude towards his Alpha but the Alpha didn't seem to mind as he approached me closely with calculating eyes and a hand under his chin. The gray hairs on the sides contrasted to the dimmed lights and his eyes held big, massive hurricanes as it flashed in the darkness. No wonder he was considered one of the most powerful leader, even his stance could make anyone shiver and overthink what he did.
"So, you are our threat?" He asked but he wasn't expecting an answer as he continued eyeing me up and down like an inspector, "and you are my son's mate? there has to be an explanation." He thought loud and clear.
"Ouch, I feel offended." I snarked sarcastically and he smirked at me, the other people in the rooms stayed silent since it was the only fun show they had. My hair was in a messy bun and they gave me rotten clothes that I refused to wear, my skin was still healing by itself.
"I mean surely you wouldn't reject the next Alpha in line," he continued as his eyes looked into mine, "and we don't consider you as a threat at all." He stated proudly.
"If I am not a threat, then why did you come here to see me?" I replied back just as harshly and he chuckled at my outburst as he placed both of his hands on the metal door.
"It was expected coming from a teenager trying to take the world away." He retorted.
"Also a teenager who knows about your dead mate and your daughter's curse so if I am in your place Alpha," I neared him with my eyes flashing my wolf's fatal black eyes, "I would be scared shitless." I sneered with a smile on my face as the Alpha growled and commanded the men to open my room.
As soon as they opened, Seila released her speed power and I ran away with the Alpha hot on my tail.
That's so exciting, finally some chase. Seila cheered and I laughed as I jumped to the other end of another pack, the Alpha stopped and howled at his neighbor pack as an alarm but I enjoyed the run as I trailed inside the neighboring Wildcrest pack.
"This isn't over, pup." The Alpha growled out and I gave him my middle finger as I skipped cheerfully towards the river until I was stopped with the sight of a little girl walking towards me so I grabbed her fast and ran with her screaming in my arms. She was going to blow my cover so I closed her mouth with my hand and soothed her.
"Shush, I am just playing hide and seek with my siblings." I lied to her and that seemed to calm her down, she had big red eyes and thin lips with a huge scar that went from the middle of her left eyebrow to her left cheekbone.
"That's cool, can I play with you?" She asked.
"Only if you tell me about what happened to your face." I traded and she agreed.
"My dad boiled my face with extra hot water but Dan saved me from him," she giggled at the mention of his name and continued, "he's my hero!" she clapped and I smiled at her.
"Who's Dan?" I inquired and her red eyes turned blue with her smile wide as my wolf writhed in pain inside of me and I couldn't move an inch.
"You little lying b***h, you will pay for that." I threatened.
"Don't you dare threaten my Beta." A buff man appeared with hardened eyes with the other pack appearing all with multi-colored eyes flashing at me like I was something to eat. The little girl mockingly bowed before taking back her power and I realized my mistake all too soon.
This is not Wildcrest pack, this is the Royal Avalanche pack. Seila mentioned and I wanted to bash my head into a wall.
"Let's take her to the magic room because jail won't suit her." The little girl ordered with her spooky red eyes and a sinister smile.
"That's my daughter." He praised her with a kiss on her head and took her hand as the other men held onto me and closed their eyes only to see ourselves in a wide colorful room, I was surprised to see their weird powers, it wasn't like anything from what I studied about them.
They deal with real magic, maybe we can taunt them with the mention of their enemies. Seila suggested but I dismissed that idea since they were too smart to use that strategy on.
From what I studied about the royal packs was that this pack population was small compared to other packs but that didn't make them weak for each one had a super special power, they couldn't even move without magic; it was their strong weapon. Nobody could compete with them and the little girl, Alana Avalanche, was the most powerful with her twelve powers. Her age couldn't come close with her powers; she was eleven years old only but her maturity developed faster than the number.
At the mention of her, she and her dad hand in hand approached me with identical eyes and a sour expression on their faces both in black suits.
"Pain." She whispered and I could feel my bones jiggling making me scream at her to stop.
"Not now dear, it seems that her mate has arrived." He concluded and I stared at him in shock at the fact that they knew I had a mate.
"Ah, my Kadey, I missed him." She clapped as she said that and rushed outside with her speed.
Kaden was here but I was too busy collecting my aching bones.
