She was here.
Her caramel colored eyes, her smooth hair glowed under the light and her body moved so confidently. I didn't hesitate, I growled at her and she took a step forward with glints of hope in her eyes.
"Hey there, bad boy," she greeted while smirking. I knew that she taunting me so I stopped growling and neared her.
"You're coming with me, " I demanded as my hand grasped her thin upper arm and pushed her in front of me.
"Fiesty, I like it," she commented as she chuckled when I hotly glared at her. She was certainly different than the other scared rogues I had seen before.
I mind-linked my best friend to take care of the sleeping Destalia and to guard her until I finished with the interrogation. Dad was under the impression that we were still searching for the lunatic rogue while he was staying over with the Alpha of Wildcrest Pack to conduct a strategic plan on how to take care of the rogue that threatened all the other royal packs.
My eyes analyzed her fiery colored hair and her pale back that was exposed from her ripped shirt. I didn't feel anything so I let it go for the reason that she was hallucinating that I was her mate.
Kaden, the rogue was in Wildcrest moments ago. Alpha Jackson mind- linked me. I already knew that but now that I had her under my hold, I could find answers.
Got it, dad. I mind-linked back as we entered the empty hall room, it was still so early in the morning and the whole council didn't meet until 9 am. I blocked my mind link so nobody could know about the rogue, preventing any chance of dad knowing about her.
"So this is how you spend your money on," she gestured at the spacious desk that glinted under the morning light because it was made from crystal, "nice room, I could get used to that." she sat on the rolling chair and placed her legs on top of the desk with arms behind her head with a mischievous smile.
I smirked at her when I pushed her legs off of the table making the chair fall backward as her back hit the wooden floor.
"Bea Anderson, we meet again," I said with a smug smile on my face as she stood up and huffed.
"Is that how you welcome your guest?" she asked hotly and rolled her eyes once she lifted the chair up and sat on it.
"You are not the guest here," I reasoned snarkily, "you are our enemy and you are going to receive your punishment as a rogue."
"I really don't get how you are going to be an Alpha when you aren't smart enough to question about me coming back to you," she said as her smile widened at my glare.
"I will not allow you to disrespect me like that," I snapped as I pulled the two handles of her rolling chair towards me. One pull and her face was an inch far than mine.
"Listen here, miss arrogant, you will tell me the whole truth about your sick plan to destroy my pack or else I will torture you," I threatened with steely eyes at the careless girl.
"What if I lied to you? how would you know?" she retorted as she touched the side of my face with her hand. I took her hand and she winced when I placed it down on her lap.
"I would know because I have powers that you don't know about," I smirked at the surprised girl. "Now, my first question is why did you escape your pack?" I asked impatiently.
"What if I don't want to reply?" she taunted and my eyes turned black as she screamed in pain while holding her head. My eyes, then, returned to their normal color as she winced when her hands left her head.
"Now, answer me," I demanded. She was as stubborn as a rock but if she didn't give me answers, I would have to get them myself.
What she did next caught me off-guard. She sat on my lap and her canines grew longer as she neared my neck with her red wolf eyes but I was smarter than that, I grabbed her head and pushed her back to the chair as the wheels broke.
She f*****g tried to mark me.
She tried again but I held her on my back and sprinted to the dungeons, where the prisoners begged for freedom. Our dungeons were the scariest out of all the ones in the royal packs, it was where ghosts existed and rotten grounds with greasy metals along sharp shredded walls.
I threw her inside and closed the door behind her. She bashed her hands on the door repeatedly and screamed my name.
"Kaden, I am your f*****g mate, I expect a consolation make out when you realize that, you dickhead!" she screamed but I tuned her out due to my frustration.
I thought she would give me answers but instead, she tried to mark me. The intent of her actions were going to be punished but for now, I had to keep quiet until I knew the answers to all the confused thoughts in my head.
Playing nice was not what I aimed for when I walked out of the dungeon after hearing pleas of forgiveness from the rogues that tried to destroy us. I was going to be as ruthless as my dad, I looked up at the sky to my mom and told her that I missed her before going to check on Destalia.
I opened the door to my house as my siblings rushed to eat their breakfast and laughter spread on their faces as they threw food at each other, Destalia was quiet and I could tell that she was thinking about her nightmares.
Kaden, I know about Bea. Dad mind-linked me and I froze on the spot. I was definitely going to get it from dad.
