Liam's POV

It was a beautiful day the atmosphere was peaceful and serene maybe it was because I was in the children's park where little pups gathered,it was one of the things I had to do today meet with the kids and have fun with them so I could understand their plight.One of the things a Alpha does is to touch every core of the pack, playing with the kids was one of the fun part of being an Alpha,I wondered how my pups will look like will they take after me or their mother.I rubbed off the thought, I wasn't ready to have a mate not to talk of having pups,if I wanted a pup I could just adopt one sounds like a good idea,I took my notepad and wrote it down just then a young girl on a blue dress was crying she was pushed away by a young boy with a lollipop in his mouth,I walked over to see what was going on. "Hey boy, why did you push her?" I said calmly.

"She wanted to have my candy."

What a stingy kid they weren't aware of my identity so they were free with me.

"Is that why you pushed her?"

"I didn't mean to"

"Kiddo do you want to meet with the tooth fairy?'

"Yes I do, I do" he repeated it loudly.

"Then you have to learn to share things the tooth fairy only plays with those who love to share things with others and aren't stingy." I said childishly.

"I want to meet with her, I'll share things with others now,I promise." We did a pinky swear and he apologized to the girl, then they went to play. If only pack matters could be easy to solve like that, things would be so different, just then my phone rang. It was from Henry. "Let me guess a rogue problem?" I whispered mockingly.

"Worse than that,the Elders are having an urgent meeting."

"And what's wrong with that Henry?" I rolled my eyeballs.

"Your uncle called for the meeting." "Where is the meeting holding?"

As soon as I got the address I left the park as soon as possible,my uncle was the former Beta of the pack,after my dad's death he presumed that he will be the next Alpha but he wasn't chosen he didn't bear the rune mark meaning he wasn't capable enough to lead the pack,I was chosen as the Alpha of the pack at the age of 17 I was so young went through so much training and lesson. My uncle had been an opponent always having a different opinion of every decision I made for the pack,him summoning the elders means there's something fishy going on which I must see myself.

I got to the resort where they were having the meeting. Henry was waiting for me outside. I gave him my car key so he could park the car properly. I made my way to the floor where they were having the meeting. I was stopped by the receptionist, who is a lady and some guards. "I'm sorry sir you have to go back there's a meeting going on." The receptionist spoke up and the guards stretched their hands to prevent me from entering.

"Move if you don't want your heads on a platter the next few minutes." My voice was so loud it dominated the whole area. I'm sure the people in the meeting were alerted to my presence, something about the Alpha's voice I'm in love with. Knowing that it was their Alpha they let me pass, Henry had already catched up with me. I entered the room my uncle was saying something,I made my way to an empty seat Henry stood beside me, the countenance on his face changed to that of boldness and pride, he gave me the I got you this time look. "You weren't invited to this meeting Liam."

"You mean Alpha" I was touching his sensitive spot."

"You are my Nephew,I can call you by your name." He replied

"First things first, I'm your Alpha before anything else you will call me Alpha." I spoke boldly.

"And what's this meeting about?" This time I wasn't facing my uncle, I was facing the elders. There were 10 in numbers including my uncle,they didn't answer and they kept quiet.

"Are you planning a coup or something?"

"We wouldn't dare," one of the elders said. His name was Alex.

"Then what's this meeting about?" I spoke in a commanding tone.

"About the full moon" Noah, the most sensible of the elders, spoke. I respect him alot I wonder why he is in this meeting.

"What about it?"

"The full moon is a period whereby wolves' strength and ability increases and this time around it can be a dangerous period for White wind packs." Noah explained.

"I'm not following" I looked at Noah curiously. "I mean with the situation of rogues that have been coming up lately,all wolves will have increased capability that day including the rogues giving them advantage over us."

"The borders are secure, you don't have to worry about that." Henry chipped in.

"For now you don't know what they are planning." Another elder spoke up.

"We can take them down, you said it yourself, we will have increased ability so you don't have

to worry, I'll be at the border line that day if that is what you want."

"You will be the weakest of us that day." Noah replied firmly.

"What do you mean?"

"You don't have a mate," my uncle replied.

My whole body went stiff so the reason for the meeting was because I haven't found my mate. It was getting interesting.

"And how does my mate have a role in any of this?" I ignored my uncle and directed the question to Noah.

"You are an Alpha which means on the full moon your power increases you lose control over your actions, your s*x drives is heightened,Only your mate can satisfy you and keep you calm, without her reverse is the case you will be the weakest after satisfying yourself with another woman that isn't your mate risking the life of the pack members.

It all makes sense now why I feel weak and irritated after spending intimate moments with other women, but this meeting wasn't going to solve anything. My uncle was looking for events

to work in his way,I couldn't bring myself to their terms so I decided to turn the flow of the meeting to another tune.

"So how has this meeting helped me find my mate?"

"Where is she now,is she here? I didn't see her here." I looked around, acting like I was looking for something.

"We are just trying to"

I didn't let Alex finish his sentences. I spoke up this time with an angry tone.

"Do you know what this kind of meeting is called? It is called a traitor's meeting!! You discussing the issues of your Alpha behind him without proper routines,do you know the punishment for traitors,it is chaining with silver!!"

Hearing the words silver the elders panicked,not even an Alpha can endure the pains of silver it was the weak point of werewolves.

Taking a deep breath I spoke up calmly "Because of the relationship between us In time past,I will forget this meeting happened."

Having said that, I left the room and drove out of the resort.

Henry had followed me to my house since my mom wanted him to come over so he waited for dinner. In the dining hall we were eating silently. It was quiet. I wasn't in the mood to talk since what had happened In the afternoon, the elders didn't have any sense of loyalty. They should know that their loyalty is to their Alpha first then their mate second,I shouldn't have spared them. "Henry told me about what happened with the elders." My mom spoke up.

"Snitch" I directed my gaze towards him.

He shrugged his shoulders and said "She deserves to know, honestly I think they are right."

"What! don't even think about lecturing me Henry?"

"Well I'll lecture you, I'm with Henry on this one Liam,you need to find your mate,this pack needs a Luna they need a destined mother of the pack,and with the full moon coming in some days things might get scarier." My mom replied while eating her steak.

Hearing this made me nervous. "All will be fine mom,I promise." I assured her.

Nora's POV

After finishing the chores I had to do for the day I decided to rest on the couch for some minutes Daniel and Cynthia weren't in either,Mia went clubbing Bryan went out with his friends,due to the stress I dozed off, just then I had a dream i felt a soft hands rubbing the length of my legs from my upper thighs to my ankles. Then it proceeded to my belly button, I felt a hard massage on my breasts, the pains jerked me back to reality. It wasn't a dream, it was real. Bryan was the one touching me. I stood up immediately and slapped him.

"Are you out of your mind Bryan? How dare you put those filthy hands on me."I screamed at the top of my voice.

He moved closer towards me and said "Don't you like it?"

"I don't,and this will be the last time you will try that with me." I said confidently.

"I have feelings for you Nora," Bryan replied.

I was shocked looking at him. He was drunk under the influence of alcohol. "What did you just say?"

"I have feelings for you,I can't control the way I feel about you. I'm sorry for the days I've been treating you coldly." Bryan said as he let it all out he was moving towards me and I was taking a step backward.

"Stay away from me Bryan,I don't feel the same about you." I told him as I tried to keep my distance.

His face changed, he was angry,I had never seen him that way before,I was scared no one was in the house at that moment,so I tried to run but before I could reach the door he grabbed me and covered my mouth, taking me to his bedroom." I'll help you accept me." His voice was hoarse. He dropped me harshly on the bed and pinned me down with a great force,he unbuttoned his shirt using that as an opportunity I decided to scream he hit me and used his shirt to cover my lips,he tore my dress his hands went to my underwear he pulled it down he looked at me i shook my head I had cried my heart out he

looked away he bent over and kissed my body,used his hands to trace my body down from my breasts down to my navel to my hips. At this time I felt no hope if he succeeded I'll kill myself,I guess that was my fate.

"I'll help you realize your feelings for me." His voice was hoarse. The only thing he was listening to was his erection. He spread my legs and buried his head in between my thighs, sniffing me.I kept crying and making muffled screams. Just then I felt a splash of blood on me. Bryan fell beside me, Esther had hit him with a vase. He was unconscious or dead. I didn't know.Esther loosed the cloth covering my mouth and helped me stand up.

"You have to run now." Esther said as she took a blanket to cover me.

My body was weak. I wanted to fall. I kept crying,of all people I didn't expect Esther to save me.

"Did he succeed?" Esther was worried.

I shook my head. "You came at the right time, thank you." I didn't stop crying, Esther tried to calm me down, looking at Bryan's body on the

bed and the bedsheet soaked with blood I spoke up "Is he dead?"

"We don't know for now, but Nora you have to go now." Esther said as she helped me get up,she said she would cover up for me and that I should escape.

I ran as fast as possible,the only place I can go to is home,the only person I could talk to is Sarah.
