Coming out of the class, Klaus leaned against the doorframe with a sigh, waiting for his new partner to come out so he could talk to her about their project, hoping he could persuade her to just go about it alone. He wasn't feeling up to stressing himself over a class project. “Out of the way yellow eyes" Lara shoved him aside as she came out the class with Ralph following closely behind. “Well someone's getting testy" He smiled “Yeah well getting paired with a loser would do that to you. I'm sure the new witch can relate, afterall, she was paired with you" Lara rolled her eyes before storming away. “That gotta hurt Moon. Truth hurts that way" Ralph scoffed and walked away after her. “Look at that, a match made from hell" Klaus shook his head at them. He glanced into the class to see Arya still discussing with Blair. He wasn't planning on walking over to the both of them to say what he wanted to her. He sighed, turning to leave instead. As soon as he came out fully into the hallway, his eyes fell on a raven, flying toward his direction. He looked around with furrowed brows, but everyone seemed to be going about their day, no one seemed to notice the raven except him. The Raven flew into the empty class close to him, and out of the class came a whisper of his name. His curiosity grew at the weird scene happening before him. He began walking slowly toward the class. Stepping into the class, he looked over at the direction of the blackboard and was immediately taken aback by the sight before him. The Raven was gone, now replaced with a girl in a cloak with a hood covering her hair and face. He couldn't make out who it was under the cloak. The voice that called his name came again, from her. “He's coming for you" The voice in a whisper filled the classroom. “Who are you? What are you talking about?" “He's coming for you. He's coming for you Klaus Moon" “Hey! How do you know my name? Who's coming?" He questioned “Hey Klaus!" Theo called entering the class. “What are you doing? Are you okay?" Klaus glanced at him and then back at the mysterious girl but she was gone. His confusion grew. “Ye...yeah, yeah I'm fine" He cleared his throat, turning to face Theo, thinking maybe he had imagined the whole thing. “Let's go" He added. *** Arya checked the name on the door, confirming she was in the right place. Knocking softly on the door, she cleared her throat as she patiently waited for an invitation which came seconds after. Arya pushed the door open and peeked her head in. “Ms Diana?" She asked. “Yes.. oh you must be the new student. Come on in and please, it's Ms D. That's what everyone calls me" Arya shut the door behind her, her eyes focused on the lady before her. She looked young, younger than she had expected for a witch counselor. She wouldn't be more than 35. Her blonde hair tied up into a neat bun. Her glasses placed loosely on her face. “Please sit" Ms D invited, pointing at the empty seat by the table. “Thanks" Arya whispered, taking her seat. “I was told to come see you... Honestly I don't know why I'm here or why they wanted me to come see a counselor" “Yeah, you're not here for anything serious. It's just the procedure. Since you're new here, they just want you to get acquainted with the school system. Look at it as an introduction between us. I like seeing myself as a friend to all students rather than just a counselor. A friend whom you can tell whatever issue that's bothering you. Emotionally, physically, mentally and regarding your powers too" Ms D explained “So you're the school shrink?" Arya c****d her brow. “Not necessarily. I'm just here to guide you during your stay here. You know, having unresolved issues, mentally, emotionally and otherwise, have a way of affecting our powers. So I'm here to make sure that doesn't happen and try to help students avoid that" “Oh I see" She bobbed her head, feigning an understanding look. “You still see me as shrink, don't you?" “Oh yeah, I do" She nodded. “It's fine. As long as you know what I do. This is a safe space for everyone. Any and every thing discussed here is confidential. So feel free and comfortable here whenever you have something you need guidance with" “Alright thanks.. So can I go now?" “Yeah sure. We are done" Ms D replied. “Thanks" Arya picked up her book while standing up. She flashed the counselor a smile before making her way to the exit. Pulling the door open, she came face to face with Klaus with his fist midair, about to knock. She didn't know when she held her breath on seeing him. “Hello again, Little witch. We keep running into each other" He said with a smirk. “Actually you keeping running into me" She quickly found her voice. “We all gotta be running somewhere" He quipped, followed with a smile. ‘Damn it with the smile' She thought and then quickly rushed past him, clutching her books to her chest. “Come in Klaus!" Ms D called out to him. Klaus who had been watching Arya walking hastily toward the exit, turned his attention to the counselor. “Ms D!!!" He called out, walking into the office and shutting the door. “How I've missed you" He smiled broadly, sitting down. “Welcome back Klaus... How was the suspension?" “It was lovely, thank you for asking, had a lot of time to reflect" He replied still maintaining his smile. “To reflect on what?" “Myself.. I've realized that the mating ceremony is so close, so I need to start being responsible for the sake of my future mate" “Okay, that's good, that's progress. And how is your first day coming back to school?" Ms D questioned. “It's great. My friends were so welcoming. It was so emotional" He shook his head and took a deep breath. “You have no friends Klaus" Ms D rolled her eyes. Klaus gasped in horror, feigning being hurt by her words. “That's not true... I have you and I have Theo" He quipped. “We've been through this Klaus. Friends are important. They will help you get through anything" She advised with a more serious look. “Well I made a prospective friend today... You know her, she was leaving while I came in. The little witch. We have this assignment thing together. Mrs grumpy pants made us partners. I think we are going to really hit it off. Don't you think so?" He asked, looking glee. “Well I hope so" She sighed. “And what about the nightmares Klaus?" She asked. Klaus expression immediately dimmed, his smiling face replaced with a serious one. “Have they stopped?" He inhaled heavily and exhaled slowly, his breath shaky. He folded his arms and brought his gaze down to the desk. “Quite the opposite Mrs D. They just got more intense and feels even more real." He replied. He slowly brought his gaze back to hers. “Dying never felt so real"
