Principal Dawn came down from his vehicle, buttoning his suit. He nodded at the others arriving, witches and wolves alike. He looked up at the high castle towering above them. Letting out a small sigh, he cleared his throat and proceeded to the front entrance. The huge steel double door was wide open, giving easy access to visitors.
Walking into the dimly lit hall, the familiar scent hit his nostrils. He never thought he would be back at the elders chamber so quickly after his last visit, but there he was. Coven reagents, Alphas and Principals, all high ranked supernatural creatures, summoned by the elders. With the visit he had from his reagent friend, he knew it was a matter of time before they were called and alas, it came sooner than expected.
Approaching the high seat of the elders which was at the end of the hall, they each bowed slightly at them before proceeding to take their seats on either sides of the hall. Principal Dawn followed suit before taking his seat. Not long after their arrival, they were all fully seated and the hall was filled with whispers and muttering, each of them waiting to hear if the rumors of the prophecy were true.
For creatures who had lived for millennials, the elders were surprisely looking as though they hadn't aged a day since then. They could pass for fifty in human years. With the wave of the elder wolf's hand, the hall fell quiet and all eyes were on them. “You all must have heard the rumors about the prophecy, hence your presence here..." He spoke ever so calmly. “Well, they are true!" He annouced and the reaction of everyone present was as expected. They gasped with shock and confusion written all over their faces.
“We know you must be confused about this and so were we at first" The first elder witch chipped in.
“But we have confirmed it and the prophecy of doom has indeed returned" The second added.
“But how is that possible? The prophecy had been averted centuries ago" One of the reagents asked.
“Yes it was, hence our peaceful living for centuries. We still don't how or why the prophecy has returned but it has and it is threatening worse than before. Preventive measures were put in place in case something like this was to ever come up again and it has worked for centuries but now it seems it has been broken and the curse has somehow been averted" The elder wolf explained.
“So what are we to do to avoid the fulfillment of the prophecy?" Principal Dawn inquired
“That's the reason you all were called here today. Alphas, reagents and Principals. You all are leaders with our children under your care. We need you all to find from your respective fields how this has come to happen. We are certain one of the convens, packs, or schools, is housing the cause of this evil" The second elder witch replied
“We employ you all to find out the cause, the root and then the necessary measures will be taken. Our safety, the safety of all supernatural beings is dependent on finding what the cause is. With the prophecy not fully clear to us yet, we can't figure it yet, so it's left to you all" The first elder witch added.
***Phoenix High***
With a puzzled and questioning look on both their faces, Arya and Blair sat in the cafeteria, each in their own thoughts, trying to make sense of their discovery. “THE Prophecy of DOOM?" Blair stated, accentuating the first and last word to make sure she was understanding it all just right. “I mean, we don't know if it is ‘The prophecy of doom'.." She quickly added, doing an air quote.
“Yeah but it doesn't matter if it is or not. It's still a prophecy and we all know when there's a prophecy, it's usually about something evil and terrible. So yeah, and besides, you can tell from the mood and tone of the conversation between them that it wasn't good news" Arya explained, looking around the cafeteria.
“Will you quit that? You've been looking around since we got here" Blair shot at her.
“Yeah sorry, it's just. I haven't seen Klaus all day, have you?"
“No I haven't. Now will you quit it" She replied. “Why don't we talk about your birthday instead. How is it that it's in four days and you didn't tell me?" She tried changing the topic.
“Seriously? There's a prophecy of doom and you're talking about my birthday? And besides, how did you even know that?" Arya questioned with furrowed brows.
“Of course I know about it, I'm Blair" She scoffed. “So it's on the same day as the mating ceremony."
“Well there you go! There's a party" Arya said sarcastically.
“Come on now, don't be a downer, we are definitely gonna do something special. Besides, the mating ceremony is for the wolves and not witches," Blair explained.
“So every wolf is supposed to find their mate on that night?"
“Well not every wolf, they can't certainly get all the wolves under one roof in one night. But yeah, that's generally the idea" Blair replied, sipping from her milkshake.
“Oh okay..." She muttered, thinking about Klaus and how's it gonna be like for him.
“I think I need a refill" Blair stood up, heading toward the counter.
Arya sank back on her chair as she retreated back into her thoughts, thinking about Klaus and where he might be. She was worried, she needed to be sure he was okay. Seeing him in chains and in pain had struck something in her.

Stopping in front of the door, Klaus adjusted his hoodie, hiding his face even more. It was evening and classes were done for the day. Most of the students were back in their dorm rooms while others could be seen hanging around, chatting or engaging in one thing or the other. He exhaled sharply before knocking gently on the green door.
Getting the invitation to go in, he pushed the door and walked into the office. He looked at Ms. D for a sec before shutting the door and taking his seat. “I thought you wouldn't be coming in today, seeing as our session was two hours ago" She said to him.
“Yeah well I didn't wanna see anybody or anyone seeing me" He sniffed
“I understand... That's how you feel after each moon" She stared intently at him. “So tell me, how are you feeling today?"
“You just said you knew how I felt" He replied
“You know what I mean Klaus. I know this isn't your first nor fifth time. It's bound to make you feel different. Now, I'm no wolf and I don't understand the feelings that come with it. It's your job to make me understand so I can help you"
“Okay. One, that's a valid point, maybe we should have a wolf shrink. And secondly, if you wanna help me, try to help stop this punishment" He quipped
“You know I don't have the power to do that Klaus. This is all I can do to help you" She explained calmly.
“Then you can't help me"
“You have to understand..."
“NO!! You have to understand that talking about it doesn't make the suffering and pain go away. It doesn't change anything, it just reminds me of the pain. Do you know how it feels not being able to shift full moon after full moon, watching your wolf being caged and getting filled with rage on each moon? It's worse than your first shift. This isn't a heartbreak or a divorce that you can fix by sitting and talking about your feelings. But of course you wouldn't know that, you're a witch, how could you possibly undertand how I feel?! The only reason I'm here is because I'm being ordered to, not because I want to!" He blurted out angrily, forgetting to breathe. He exhaled sharply, burying his face in palms.
Ms. D stared at him in silence for a few more seconds before nodding. “That's good Klaus, it's good to let out how you feel and not keep them bottled up" She advised
“Thank you. I should probably go now, I'm not in the right headspace for this" He stood up and without waiting for approval, he walked out the office.
As soon as he came out from the office, he adjusted his hood and went straight for his dorm room, without making any stop on the way. It didn't take long for him to get there. He closed the door upon entering the room and leaned back against it, his eyes shut tightly.
“Dude are you okay?" Theo questioned, sitting up on the bed. “I can smell anger oozing from you, even Sammy is reacting to it"
“Okay refrain from ever using the word oozing and, who the hell is sammy?" Klaus questioned with furrowed brows.
“Oh Sammy is my wolf" He smiled proudly.
“You named your wolf?" The surprise and disbelief was clear on his face.
“Yeah of course, you didn't name yours?"
“No dude I didn't! It's not a stuff teddy" He quipped. He stood upright to walk toward his bed when he got an exploding migraine. He held his head, dropping to his knees as he yelled out in pain.
“Dude are you okay?" Theo threw away the magazine he was holding and rushed to him, holding him. “Talk to me man" He went on as Klaus continued screaming, gripping his hair tightly as though he was about to rip it off.
Klaus felt very dizzy even with his eyes tightly shut. Growling loudly with his wolf voice, the pain immediately seized. He exhaled shakily, slowly opening his eyes and receiving a shock that left him more confused. He turned looking around to make sure he was seeing right and he was. “What the hell?" He almost shouted in his wolf head as he stood in the middle of the woods, fully shifted to his wolf form.
