A Marriage For Convenience

Hers and his was an arranged marriage, but even in her childhood, Megan has always loved Tyrone. Though she knew that Ty didn’t feel the same way, that didn’t stop her from falling for her betrothed even from the beginning. Ty’s best man was busy preparing him for his wedding, while Ty was busy on his phone, directing his office from his groom’s room. “Will you get off the phone already” exclaimed his brother Rob. Rob shrugged and stayed silent. The wedding eventually took place. Meg was the epitome of beauty and Ty as handsome as a guy could get. The perfect wedding for the perfect couple, as people would say, but they have no idea, the struggle behind it. But for now, today, their wedding, she could pretend. She went to Ty, said her good night and went up to their honeymoon suite in the hotel, knowing that tonight, the honeymoon suite will not echo with love but rather with silence and longing. At the room, Megan hurriedly took off her wedding gown, she planned on taking a shower but, owing to the stresses of the day, promptly fell asleep. She was still in her wedding undergarments when Ty came into the room. A bit on the drunk side, he saw his now wife in the bedroom, wearing close to nothing. He thought, is she teasing me?
