Angela POV I never believed in mystical creatures , I watched them in movies and read them in books but I always believed they are fictional characters and never a real being . Well my believe is about to change ...... My name is Angela and I'm eighteen years old . I live in a small town with little to no crime with my parents and my siblings. I have two siblings , I'm the middle child . My elder brother is a tall muscular guy known as the finest guy in my school . Every girl wants to be my friend with the hope that I can say a word or two about them to my brother. He is twenty and his name is Mike. Since he became twenty , he has never stopped teasing me about how I'm still a baby. Talk about an annoying one. My parents adore him and he gets away with almost everything and anything , I'm not even kidding there was a time when he made me fall from the swing and my parents blamed me for getting on the swing . Shrugs My baby sister is the definition of an angel , she is the sweetest being I know but she can be annoying most times. She acts too grown for someone that is fifteen and that pisses me off a lot . Her name is Anna and she is the apple of everyone's eyes in our family. She has the prettiest set of eyes I've ever seen , they are a light shade of blue . She has the body of a matured adult , she is curvy in the right places and I have to fight off boys everytime. Well as for me , I'm just plain old me , stick figure .. no curves . I get teased a lot by people saying I'm not meant to be in my family because of how I'm different in terms of appearance. I've never had a boyfriend , never been on a date and I've never had anyone tell me they have a crush on me . I guess I'm not going to experience any sort of romance in my school life . Oh I forgot to tell you about my group of friends . I have two female friends Ivy and Blue . Now Ivy is the type of person that can talk from morning till evening without getting tired and Blue is the opposite . Ivy have a model figure , her face and body are exactly what modelling companies look for but she is not interested in modelling because according to her her parents will object . Blue is a little bit on the chubby side among us three and she has the right amount of hips and boobs . I look small compared to them but they are my best buddies and we've known each other since kindergarten . My male friends circle consists of Mark , Johnny and Kevin . They are fun guys and they made sure people around them have fun too . Mark is more of the model student while Johnny is always the unserious one and Kevin is always in-between . Funny right ? However we all study hard for exam and tests so none of us ever failed a test or an exam . . . . . . . Felix POV It's always annoying to wake up to the loud noises of the birds chirping on trees or the people walking along the road but I have no choice than to bear with it because my identity cannot be exposed and I must be as human as possible if I'm to live peacefully here . My name is Felix and I'm 19 years old . And in case you haven't read through the lines , I'm not human . I'm a werewolf. I would never set an alarm as normal people do because I'm only going to be causing harm to myself . The sound of live around me is my alarm . 'Hey you up already' my roommate said. His name is Chris and he is a vampire. We met three years ago . I was happy to meet somebody who is similar to me and he was happy to meet somebody he won't have to hide his true self with. We do things together since then . 'I'm up' I replied . I got up from my bed to start to start about my day . My daily routine includes waking up and using my air pods as a noise blocker. The human world is too loud , it's not like this back at my pack but I wanted to experience something new which is why I'm here . I wonder if people believe creatures like myself and Chris exist , I guess they don't . Chris is my only friend , the reason being that he is the only one I can truly relate with and also it's partially because I'm socially awkward. Back at the pack , I don't really have friends. All I do is stay home, read , let my wolf out to run , get back home , eat and sleep . I was told I'm going to run the pack when it's time. But before then I wanted to experience life on my own which is why I'm here . Chris is a lot older than me , Vampires don't age so it doesn't really matter . He ran away from home . I'm guessing the reason behind it is deep but he never really talks about it when I ask him. He replies me by saying it's family problems . I wonder if he misses home and his people so I avoid talking about my family with him. I'm an only child , my mother the Luna died while giving birth to me and my father refused to remarry since then . Talk about a loyalist. I've never really had a lot of opportunities to let out my wolf since I came to this town because of the fear of being caught and the stress it would bring to people. Once in a while I go deep into the forest at night and let him out for an hour or two . My wolf is quite hot tempered , his name is Lucas . His colour is dark brown . Brown wolves are said to be rare wolves in my pack and I still remember the look of pride my father had on his face when I got my wolf . Author's POV Angela can be seen getting ready for school as she packed her bag . She went into the dining to eat her breakfast because skipping breakfasts is a deadly sin at their home. She had her breakfast in an hurry and quickly left the house to catch the bus. Her brother drives to school but she won't be caught dead riding his car with him . Felix and Chris finished dressing up and are seen to be going out of their house . They got into Felix car and zoomed off. Today is their first day at a new school and they are looking forward to it. They made it into the school before the bell and found their classes . Angela POV I heard we are having new students today , I hope they are reasonable people unlike the jerks we have in my class . I was rechecking my maths homework when he walked into the classroom. I had that moment that's popular in novels where they describe it as everything stopping and revolving around a person . His looks , his heights , his body proportions. I was wowed. My brother just got his title snatched because this boy is ten times more handsome than my brother. He looked in my direction and I froze , he has very captivating eyes . I noticed he is coming to my direction and I quickly checked myself to make sure I didn't drool. He made his way into the empty seat beside me and settled down into it . He smelled like flowers . I wonder what type of spray he uses . My heart is still beating from the time I caught his eye . I wonder why . I'm not the type to see people and get interested in them but I could tell it's going to be a different story entirely this time around. His smell is affecting me in a way I can not explain and I'm inexplicably drawn to him . 'Get your acts together' I scolded at myself . I think I fell in love the moment I caught his eye. The butterflies in my tummy are exactly as what Ivy and Blue explained when they fell in love. Help I'm in love with the new student . Felix POV I never knew switching schools can be so stressful , I just finished with the process and I was assigned to a class . My class is different from Chris's class and that's another source of concern because we didn't want to be in different classes . We had no choice but to accept our different classes. On my way to my class , I smelled a lot of students . That's the hardest part about going to a new place and that is why I do most of my shoppings online. The stress of smelling the different scent of people is always a source of headache to me . A particular smell is more pleasant than the other smells tho and I got attracted to that smell. I got to my assigned class and the smell got stronger, I figured the owner of that smell is from the class. Immediately I entered , my head went to the corner of the class where she is seated. Her black hair is shinny and I can smell her shampoo . Every other smell faded and I can only smell her. 'Mate' my wolf growled Mate ? My mate is a human ? It seems time stood still and I could only see her. She is so beautiful . I've always thought my mate is going to be a wolf like me but I guess the queen mother have a different plan for me . I walked towards her and she stopped looking at me , I noticed an empty seat beside her so I sat on it. Her scent is invading my senses . I brought out my phone and texted Chris about it . I've always thought my mate is not in this town because I couldn't smell or feel her . I thought I was going to meet my mate after I reunite with the pack. Different thoughts ran through my head about how I'm going to approach her and how I'm going to make her become my Luna . How could I have not meet her until today . My head is running in different directions and my wolf keeps jumping up and down. I guess he is more excited than me to meet our mate. I decided to converse a little with him . 'Are you okay that she is human and you don't have a wolf to run around with?' I asked. He replied me by saying he can always have her climb his back and run around the woods with her. I felt a little bit bad for him because I know he will be sad in a way. He always wanted a mate and then the mate turned out to be a human. I looked at her desk and she had a book there , I checked her name and found out her name is Angela . Such a beautiful name. The name is as beautiful as she is. Angela ... Angela ... Angela .. I kept repeating the name in my head. I guess it's possible to be addicted to a name . I looked over to her side and her side profile is really stunning , she must have been a royalty in her last life. She definitely have the looks for it . She seemed to notice me staring because she looked at me and smiled. Her smile is perfect , how can someone have such a perfect set of teeth. I smiled back at her. My school life is starting off on an interesting note. I met my mate. My whole life is about to change. Meeting your Mate is a form of blessing to wolves and I'm glad I got to meet mine early . Author's POV Both Angela and Felix continued having their thoughts even after the teacher entered the class. It was difficult to concentrate because of the level of attraction they are feeling for each other . It was unknown to Angela that she was Felix mate but it was very clear to Felix that Angela is his Mate. Felix decided to summon courage and talk to her after the teacher left and they had their free period. 'Hello' Felix said and Angela replied with an Hi . He told her his name is Felix and she also told him her name . They had a light conversation and one way or the other exchanged numbers . Chris POV I got into my new class and everyone just stared at me , I'm used to it because I always get that kind of attention whenever I go to a new place. Felix texted me about meeting his mate and I was genuinely happy for him . I'm sitting in between two boys and they seem chill . They told me their names are Johnny and Mark . We got talking and I realized both of them are cool headed especially Johnny. I feel like he's the type of person I can easily be friends with . Mark is a bit awkward at first but I know he is going to come around later. I hope Felix gets to make friends in his new class . Author's POV Felix and Angela continued stealing glances at each other and it didn't escape the eyes of Kevin who was watching them with keen eyes . He started feeling jealous because he actually had a crush on Angela and she had never looked at him that way before . Kevin went to Angela and joked around with her in an attempt to make Felix back off . Felix understood what was going on and he made a mental note to avoid Kevin as much as possible . Well some things don't go as planned because Kevin went to meet him after class ended and started welcoming him and attempting to make friends with him. There is nothing Felix could do than to respond well to him . They exchanged numbers and Said goodbyes after the day ended . Felix didn't get to see Angela because she left early while Kevin was still talking to him . He was a bit disappointed about this but he shrugged it off. Chris and Felix met at the parking space and they left the school . They gisted about everything that happened while on the way . Felix told him about Kevin and Chris told Felix about Mark and Johnny . Felix was happy Chris got to make new friends . They talked about their plan for the semester and how they are going to go about it. They are genuinely happy about their new school. Felix couldn't stop thinking about Angela , he didn't know how he is going to explain everything to her and he doesn't know if she will believe him or think he is sick in the head. Angela is seen getting on the bus in her way home , Kevin blocked her chance at talking to the new boy before she left the school. She missed his face already . Mike is going to pick Anna up so she have no problem picking her. She always enjoys going home alone . It gives her time to think about useful and useless things. She sees going home alone as a form of personal time. No matter how much Ivy and Blue bugs her she always decline their offer to go him together . Today she is going to be thinking about the new boy. She is trying to figure out how she fell instantly for him . What is making her so attracted to him. She is genuinely curious about those . She got home and fresher up then started working on her assignments . She was almost done with it when Anna came into her room . She asked Anna to hold on so she can finish her assignments . She have a daily routine with Anna which includes the younger girl telling the older about everything that happened to her that day . They talked about her school works and how the new English teacher explains better than the old one . They talked until it's time for dinner and they went to eat . Mike talked about the two new boys and how his friends came to tell him they are more handsome than him and how he got jealous but when he saw the two of them he instantly agreed . Angela told him that one of the boys is in her class and Mike teased her about how she should not fall for the boy because he is not going to look at her plain face. They laughed about it and each one went to bed . Felix POV We got home and sorted out our assignments , wow that school can sure give loads of assignments . I made dinner because I'm the chef in the house. Chris can't boil water without burning the kitchen . There was a time he was meant to cook pasta and he burnt everything. Since then I don't allow him cook anymore because I still need my life and I don't want to burn my precious body haha. We ate dinner and played video games before it was bedtime . Chris asked me how I plan to explain myself to Angela and I told him I have no plans yet . It's all complicated because she is human . I can't have my cover blown at school and I know it's going to fine as a shocker for her when I tell her about it . But one things that's calming me is the mate bond . She is also attracted to me without knowing the cause so I'm glad it won't take long before she agrees to go out with me. I texted my father about finding my mate and he is a bit disappointed that she is human . I'm going to be an alpha and having a human mate is a form of weakness because she definitely won't be able to defend herself from enemies Incase our pack gets into a fight with another pack.
