Welcome Home

Demi(Athena's) POV

I woke up in a hospital bed. I sat up and I jumped when I felt warm hands on my shoulder. 

"Oh, Athena. I'm so sorry we left you. I tried so hard to find you." I look at him confused. 

"Who are you exactly?" I asked and his eyes grew.

"It's me. Cal?" His name was the name I heard when I passed out that day.

When I was about to say something a woman in a lab coat came in with a man in a suit. "Good afternoon Miss Carter. I am Doctor Luise James." Who is this Carter girl?

"Umm. Miss Carter? My name is Demi Miles." I told the doctor reassuringly. 

"And that seems to be the problem ma'am. Not to put to much stress on your brain, but a little bit over a year ago you were sent on a mission to collect intel on a rogue filled pack, but unfortunately it had to be aborted. You helped get all of your troops out safely, but you got captured." I held my hand up for her to stop. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. 

Mission? Intel? Troops? What the hell?

"Long story short, your memory was erased by a witch. I'll give you some time to take that in and be back." The doctor left and I was just in a room with this man in a suit and Cal, was that his name?

The man in the suit steps forward, "I'm Manny. I'm head of this kingdom's counil. I'm not going to ask you for any information today, but I will have to set up a meeting with you, Beta Koda and Alpha Kylo."

Kylo? "Wait so Kylo is this kingdom's alpha?" I asked after recognizing his name.

"Yes. Does it ring a bell?" He asks walking slowly towards me. 

"Yes actually it does. While I was with Marco I'd remember small things, but the day he asked me to be luna I just fell and remembered what I assume is the day I help you escape." I say pointing at Cal. " But I only remember some names. Cal, Manny, Kylo, and Carter. And so far I've heard all four of those names and I'm still so confused." I put my head in my hands out of frustration. 

"Right now you need to rest, The doctor will bring your meds and I'll take you home?" I look up at him, "Home? I have a home here?" I ask with my eyes swelling up. Cal grabs my hands and looks in my eyes, "Yes, and a family ready to take you back. Welcome their daughter and my best friend back. Now rest, Ill be back later to pick you up." 

I lay back down as both Manny and Cal leave. As I was drifting off to sleep I wondered what my real family is like.
