Welcome Home Part 2

464 Words
Athena's POV Koda came earlier to tell me that later today after Cal takes me home, which feels weird to say, that I will have to meet with him and the alpha. I was fine with that, it means I can get it over with sooner rather than later.  Cal comes in pulling me out of my thoughts. "Ready?" He asked me smiling.  I give him a weak smile, "I guess. I'm just a little bit scared." Cal walks over to me and grabs my hands, his hands are so soft. "Your family has been waiting for you to come back for over a year. They even stayed home to give you the time you need to readjust. Trust me when I say, they will welcome you with very open arms." His words soothe me and I calm down. We leave the hospital and headed on home. Looking at all the tress made me tired and I fell asleep. Maybe about 30 minutes later Cal woke me up, and we're pulled up at this big house that looks like a castle. Cal opens the door for me and we walked to the door. Before Cal could touch the door knob a woman open the door and throws herself at me. Behind her is a man smiling at her actions. "Oh my babygirl is back. Don't ever do that again."She lets me go and pinches my arm. "Ow lady, that hurt." I say. Her whole position change after I spoke.  The man behind her speaks,"Hello Athena. Forgive your mother she forgot your situation it seems." I didn't process his words at first because this whole Athena situation keeps confusing me. "I'm sorry then. I just don't remember anything. And  I have to get use to the name Athena. I'm assuming you're my dad?" I ask putting my hand out about to shake his. Instead he pulls me in a hug and it feels warm and familiar. I smile once he lets me go and we head inside.  I had told my parents, Cal, and other people that joined in the living room of what happen while I was with Marco. I told them about my dreams, about my wolf's thoughts, and about the day Marco asked me to be his luna.  "Sounds like your wolf had more sense." My mother says "She's got that right." Says Adira.  I smile but their was a ringing through the house. Cal goes to the front door and I follow curiously. I see Koda. "Are you ready Miss Carter?" Koda asks looking passed Cal. I look back at everybody in the living room and they all give me reassuring smiles, like they got my back. It felt good, so I turn to face Koda, "Let's go." I say.
