Katie's PoV

"I have made my decision and we are going to have to keep you alive, we need you to pretend to be on their side so that we can find information but I swear as soon as we lose trust in you or you mess up I will not hesitate to kill you!" He told us with clenched fists.

"Yeh thank you, I understand I won't let you down. I promise" I answered back.

Damien nodded before leaving with his men.

Diana and Lucy were stood here looking at me. "I'm sorry, I was just trying to protect you." I told them. They both gave me a hug whispering I love you before leaving me alone with Ryder.

He looked so angry at me, "Ryder I'm..." I began but Ryder cut in. "Don't! Just shut up. I want nothing to do with you" he shouted back before leaving the room.

Ryder's PoV

I left the room leaving her alone only for her to follow me. She grabbed my wrist trying to make me stop but I'm stronger than her an she had no impact. I pulled my wrist out her grip and stopped.

"Ryder! Stop being a jerk and Listen!" She shouted.

"Me the jerk? You fuckin lied, to me! To your family! What do you want me to say?" I shouted back.

"I don't know, but I'm sorry! I thought by keeping it a secret, that it wouldn't hurt anyone. I wanted to sort this mess out myself, why wouldn't you just be honest with me?" She asked.

"I didn't trust you, I didn't know what to do. All I could think about is how you are helping a gang kill my dad, I don't understand how you could do that" I hissed back.

She looked sad, but I couldn't do anything. She betrayed us, ugh why wasn't she honest?

"I was taught not to care about this stuff, I never had family do it didn't bother me but then I started liking you, that's why I helped you after being beat up. I found out who beat you up and when I came to live with you because we had an argument because I was defending you! But then you brought me here, I met Diana and Lucy. You showed me what as real family is and you gave me my family back. I can't thank you enough which is why I couldn't destroy yours. I wanted to destroy the gang while keeping it a secret, so I could still have all of you. Please" she said tears running down her face.

The anger seemed to leave me when I saw her cry. I cared about her, but I can't forgive straight away.

"Look, don't cry" I said wiping her tear.

"I need time ok, so please just give me some space" I told her.

I turned and walked to my room. I kept re-thinking her words, ' but I started liking you'.

I had told her earlier that I liked her, but I don't think she realised. We have no chance together now, not after this besides I can have any girl I like. Every hoe in school wants me although I have slept with almost every girl. But the only one I really want is Katie and now everything is messed up. How will all this work out? I don't even know. Ugh, I need to sleep this off.
