Chapter 25The bright sunlight was almost misleading. Blue, cloudless skies, and a giant sun might make a person believe it was a super-hot day. It wasn't. The steady wind carried a cold bite. It stung exposed flesh. Falcone immediately regretted not picking up a pair of gloves before heading out from home this morning.
