No chances

The most pleasurable time of the year is just around the corner. It is christmas season. And my dad will be holding a party to celebrate my graduation and my upcoming takeover of my dads buisness.We are pioneers in shoe industry which is a family buisness running for decades till date. I have been busy all this week running here and there helping dad and settling things at work. I learned business studies from my early days and have been working in my parents company from time to time. But I have a natural stammer and i am socially awkward and for that very reason i have been getting bullied numerous times. Later in the evening I arrived at Noah's office and his assistant Sam walked me to his chamber. When I went inside he got startled with my barge in. I waved my hand and took a seat across him. He smiled and put the documents he was working to a corner. 'Busy ?' I asked. 'Not really, give me 5 mins i will change and come' I threw a quick glance at him as he went to his private room beside his office desk. Noah is my best friend, he is the only son of Mr and Ms Cameron. Noah took over in his college days and has taken the company to pretty good heights proving his talents. Soon i got bored so i stood up and when through his documents. Among them were some contracts waiting to be signed and some other statistical documents. Among them was a picture of a boy around age 10 sitting on floor crying. Looks like someone has beaten him up. But something is not right. Crying on floor after getting beaten up is me. I have gotten beaten in this same spot many times that i have lost count of. So i cant tell on which day this photo was taken but one thing for sure Noah was never to be seen at times i got beaten up. Noah and i have been friends from elementary schol and moreover we were family friends. But the bullies never targeted me while i am with Noah. It is always when they find me alone. This photo who took it and why he is even keeping it, that too on his office desk. I quickly hid the photo in my pant pocket and sat back on the same seat. Soon after Noah appeared in a light blue tight fitting jean and a yellow shirt and walked near where i am sitting and crouched down to my level his hazel eyes looking at me. I raised my face to look back at him , he was looking gorgeous as always. 'So where are we heading ? my place or your place ' he asked caressing my face. 'No noah i am alright. I need to head back before night. I just came to see you.After that I will leave.' ' Okay then, do you want me to order something you seems tired.' he asked dialing his phone and soon he ordered few snacks and beverages and they soon were delivered by sam. I finished almost everything. After all i was pretty hungry since i didnt have time for lunch. Noah and I are not ordinary best friends. During my first week in college,out of nowhere he asked me out and i was taken by surprise. Eventually I said yes and that was during my last year and we have been going out for almost a year. For god sake he has been my boyfriend but never did he bothered about my bullies. For once i thought may be he didnt know. For all these time he was keeping this photo on his office desk why cant it be just anywhere else, office desk of all places. During my college time, usually it was either Clad or matt and his friends that bullied me. They were all back benchers and there behavior towards me was atleast fair and reasonable. But there was this other guy called Raven. He was one of the popular boys and was super rich and always in top 5 in exams. He was a bookworm till i came to college. For god knows why, he too started bullying me along with his friends. It is like i am emiting phermones that attarct unwanted attention. This photo brought all my dark memories flodding back. During my final year, me and Noah became official. Clad and matt both lost whole interest in me but raven did. Even Hazel Stephen who was his best friend who is unbelievably handsome and super rich pushed me in to his backyard swimming pool during his birthday party. Stephen family and my dad always meet for buisness contracts. Stephens are super rich and have many real estate, hotel , enterprises worldwide but they recently entered shoe industry. Because of buisness deals we had they invited us to Haze's birthday party and my dad literally dragged me there. As soon as those bunch of kids saw me they were gawking at me gritting their teeth, i didnt expect any better response either. They held such a deep hatred like i killed them in their previous life. Offcourse it had to do something with my previous life, beacuse i did nothing wrong this whole time. I Sneaked in to the house back yard or best define the mansion to save my beautifull suit from getting dirty by my bullies treatment. It was well maintained and beautifull I litterary ran near the pool. I stood there enjoying the beauty then someone pushed me from behind and I fell on face to the pool. Gladly I could swim. I dragged myself out of the pool and stood up drenched from head to toe. I got startled to see Haze out of nowhere with his hands crossed over his chest staring at me with pure hatred. I didnt want further drama and i knew i held no chance with him. So I looked down and turned to run when he grabbed my wrist and pushed me against a wall. ' Who invited you here' he yelled. 'Let me go bastard' I yelled back He stepped back and started laughing like a maniac for almost a minute. Then he bent to my ears and wispered 'ok ok arent you the college w***e doing making outs with his own best friend' he spatted. He tightened his hold on my wrist and I strated to wither in pain. So i struggled my best to set free. For he finally stopped and stepped back. He was giving me a disgusted look. ' Your company soon will go to bankrupt and when that happens you will have to live on streets. Why dont you go out with me instead, inreturn i can assure your company will never go bankrupt.' 'In your dreams my dad's company will go bankrupt and we are the best. Noah is a friend, he is not either a relative or an animal. So how in the world me seeing Noah is immoral. Enough of this s**t' I spat. 'Will see then' and with that released me and stepped back and I hurriedly ran away taking the chance. During my final days at college one day Raven beat me up pretty badly and i was feeling dizzy allover and in next second I totally collapsed on the floor. But before I lost my consious I remember him wispering ' Stop seeing Noah, or else not even your father will recognize your sassy face after what i do to you' So it was all about me dating Noah that was irritating Raven. Anyway i was glad, atleast clad and matt stopped bulling me in my 3rd year. Without a doubt Noah was my only friend in college. I was a mess in college and was the number one target of bullies and everyone was aware. So no one dared to approach me and i will probably never have a love life if Noah didnt propose me. Noah never talked about me getting bullied. It is true matt or clad never gave me any harsh treatment more like i was their errand boy. I mean what is the sudden interest, when he never showed any care earlier. I said good bye to Noah and since i have some time left and since things are getting hectic I rode to a bar which is on my way home. Im a regular customer here I seated inside and ordered my usual. After an hour i had already emptied 3 glasses and i was kind of drowsy too.My vision became blur and i might as well lose my consious any second. I never expected this, usually i have a good tolerance. Suddenly i felt some one sucking on my collarbone. I hit him few times but he didnt even move. I tried blinking few times to get my vision clearer to see who the hell sucking on me. While i am in the process of blinking i got dragged somewhere. Somewhere quiet that i dont here the music anymore. I yelled to whoever dragging me. Finally his movement came to a hault. Before me stood a man and his face i cant see clearly and then i looked to the side. Where the hell i am. 'bastard ' I yelled panicking. He pushed me back and that caught me offgauard and my back hit the wall. I moaned in pain. 'What do you want' I yelled. He then hovered over me sucking my lips. For a second i couldnt grasp whats happening then in a split second i started hitting on his firm chest in the hopes of breaking free. But my struggling had no effect on him. Later he pulled back and i shot open my eyes. No one was there , i was a bit sober then. I was in a*****e room on ground floor. I walked back to my seat. Since i cant drive in this state i waited till i get more sober. I dont know for how many hours I slept but I jolted awake gasping when someone one tapped on my shoulder. 'Noah' 'Your dad called me you didnt return home and your not answering the phone, so i guessed you may be here' 'Babe you are drunk, let me help you out first' he said pulling me towards him. i didnt protest. Soon he put me in his car and drove off. 'Babe you want to go to my place or your place' he asked.
