'yeah, I heard a few' Noah said and face palmed.

'So what's happening ?' I asked

'I think Mr hugg is considering stepehens offer to become an international buisness '

' No he is being threatened ' I said

' Certainly, but I see no much of a threat. More like your dad cant miss their rare offer'

'huh' Well my dad is right now down there blaming me for all the misfortune that his relationship with Camerons will be ruined. So he is just being a gold digger here

'Babe, I need to go now. I will call you later ' said Noah ready to leave

'Noah are you leaving darling ?' That was my mom

'Yes aunty, but i will come tomorrow. Hope things get settle by then' Noah said and waved me good bye.

I went back to my room. Haze will never marry someone like me and that is for sure he will be ok with anyone but not me. Last time we met he tried to kill me. He must hate me to the core.

There is no way , this marriage will practicaly happen. I think I can relax a bit.

Soon my phone began to beep.

' Hello, this is Ms jess from liberty book shop '

'Hello mam '

'Liam right ? The new edition that you have been waiting for all this while arrived few minutes ago. If you are not free i can reserve one. So you can buy it when you are free '

'No mam, I will drop later, Thanks'

I might aswell do some shopping and return home later. Since things are big hectic I need some distraction.

I started the engine and took the car to highway. There was a big traffic jam ahead and I had to wait for hours to finally arrive at the library place. The traffic must have created from the car accident i found in the mid way.

Once i landed on the shop I bought all the new updates and thanked the lady. I wanted to do some shopping so i rode back. I searched through the pockets when my phone suddenly beeped. It was from my mom

'Hi mom'

'Babe where are you ? , I need you to come back home. Something terrible happened. '

'huh, okay mom'

I made a U turn and rode back home. My mom and dad were sitting on the verenda with another person in black suit sitting across.

' Liam, why dont you go to your room. You must be tired'

I nodded and went inside my room. I went through the things i bought. The new updates were pretty amazing and I loved it. Definetly worth the wait. Sure the good works takes more time.

My phone rang and it was Noah this time.

'Hi'

'Hi babe, are you at home?'

'yes'

'Did you know, haze got in to some accident today. Anyway no harm done, not even a scratch. He has put a police antry suspecting your dad set it up'

'What nonscence, isnt my dad the one who is benefitting from the deal. I am the only one to lose here' I protested

'Yes you are, but your new fiance is so determined to put his father in law in jail i guess' Noah bickered

'Whatever, Is my dad in trouble? ' I asked worried. He is my dad after

' Not really, I will hangup now '

'Ok bye'

I dozzed off on the bed and jolted awake after hearing some loud noises from down floor. It was already evening. I came down in panic to see what's the commotion. Mom stood up seeing me coming.

'What was the noise' i asked

'Police took your dad, Stephens suspect your dad caused the hazel's accident. They are nuts. I'm worried about your sick dad. He needs to bed rest'

' I can talk to Stephens'.

' No dont go there, dad rejected their proposal last night. He cant wrong you after all. There is definetly nothing to disscuss , so no need to go there. They are just trying to acquire our company by hook and crook '

'Ok then, are you hungry. I can you cook you something'

she nodded.

After we finish the dinner, mom slept early and I went to Noah's office, he said he is working overtime. I cooked him his favourites, brought them with me. So he ate what i brought till then i helped him in his work. Since i needed a distract too , i volunteered to help him with his work. After the work is all finish for the day he took me to his home. Mr cameron Ms cameron were sleeping by the time we went there. So i didnt get to meet them on my way to Noah's room. After freshening up I slept in one of his guest rooms.

Next day I woke up bit late. Noah was not in the room, he must have left for work. I can hear Mr camerons voice from down floor and a cold shiver ran through my spine. How am i suppose to go out of the house without uncle seeing me. I went back to my room and waited another half and hour. I stood up to activate my escape plan super quick. Just then my door was opened and Ms cameron came inside with a tray of food.

The hell. Did they spot me already.

' Good morning Liam, Noah told me you are upstairs. We were actually waiting down stairs hoping you would join us later.'

'It is already late baby. Eat something' she added putting a tray of food on side table.

'Thanks mom'

'Come down later ok ' she said dissapearing in the hallway.

May be Noah didnt said about my dad. Im not the one to tell them either.

After breakfast I headed back home since there is no point staying at Noah's place.

When I came home mom was on couch head down. From the look she must have been crying for hours, I feel bad for not staying home last night.

I too slumped down on the crouch beside her and put my head on her shoulders reaching for her arm.

'Baby, Your dad has done the accident'

He must have not been in right mind that he tried an attempted murder. That too stephens. He must be in his periods.

Better live on streets for the time being or else we will be left with nothing when news gets viral. Need to do some major cost cuttings.

I put mom to bed and went inside my room. We need to hire a good lawyer, but that too will become nothing against Stephens. They will hire the best of the bests.

Next morning I sent all the servants home for the time being. Then I put the few real estates and the company shares we own for sale and gave some advertising.The fast the better.

The news soon reached many. Even Noah called me during the lunch hours. First i didnt want to disclose this to him but i eventually had to tell him. He litterally beg me to tell a proper reason.

He actually bought all the real estate i put on sale. If things get settle i can definetely buy them back from him.

Few directors bought company shares eventually. Later the unexpected happened. Stephens bought all the remaining shares. If my calculations are correct the majority of the shares must be with Stephens

My phone started beeping.

'Mom'

'Baby arent you coming home, its pretty late already. I am all alone in this house. Youve sent all servants home."

'mom, i am on my way , so dont worry ok'
