Jasmine's Pov. My body was still scrunched in pain, as I tried to get up, her kick felt like a million thunderbolts hit me. I was still coughing, when the extremely hot athletic young man reached us. “What is going on here?” He asked the Amara girl. Finally, someone that would put her in the right place, or so I thought. At first, I thought he was a teacher coming to put an end to the bullying, the way the other students started whispering at his entrance showed he was an important personality in the school, not just a teacher. He was too damn fine, and young. Amara played her hands on his chest, batting her lashes at him. “Was that even allowed here?” I asked myself. “I asked a question Amara.” He looked wickedly calm. Amara yapped away, telling him how I disrespected her, his green eyes trailed over to me, his hair was glossy and black. “How dare you disrespect her? Don't you know that she's one of the elite students of Prescott academy?” He spat rudely at me. My hand was still on my stomach, I rolled my eyes in discomfort, what the hell is going on in this school, it seems they all lacked common sense. Well, I wasn't going to give in to any form of bullying. “She started it, and I won't respect someone as nasty as her.” I fired back, aware that I am all alone in this, the other students still had their phones out. The guy put a hand into his pocket, tilted his head to the side. “What's your name?” He sized me up My body steeled itself for a minute, “Jasmine Galloway.” “I'm Aidan Delacroix, the top elite student of Prescott academy, I can see you are new, which is why I will let your actions slide.” I couldn't help but chuckle a bit, here I was giving him the credit of a teacher, when he was just a student like me. He wasn't even putting on the school uniform, but dressed casually in a flannel shirt. Then it dawned on me, they were lovers, no wonder she had her hands all over him. I hated to admit it, but they sure make a hot couple. “What's funny?” Amara sneered. Then, she turned to Aidan. “Aidan, what are you doing?” Amara protested tugging at his arm. He raised a finger up to silence her, I can see that she fears him, which makes him of a higher ranking than her. “Your forgiveness comes with a condition, you bow down to us, and show your respect.” He ordered. Amara snickered, as gasps escaped from the lips of students watching. Hell no, jasmine Galloway bows down to no one, especially some academy bullies. I straightened, with my chin up, I looked him point blank in the eyes. “No.” I replied flatly. Aidan's face fell, his brow creased together at my blatant refusal to do his bidding. A girl behind Aidan couldn't help but exclaim. “Oh my goodness, first the Queen Amara, and now Aidan, this girl really got some balls.” Amara heard her, and collected the phone, smashing it to the ground, and stomping on it, “How's that for something to post on the school's website?” She glared. The girl couldn't say a word, she picked up her broken phone and walked away. The crowd started murmuring, and the place was getting filled up, someone would have passed the message across school that something epic was going on. These two students definitely ruled Prescott academy, and were not used to being defied. “What did you just say?” Amara charged at me again. Aidan held her by the hand, stopping her midway. “Aidan, we need to teach her a lesson right now, other students are watching and would want to take the same steps as her.” She pressed. “They wouldn't dare.” Aidan said through clenched teeth. Seeing that they were engrossed with each other, my eyes rotated the crowd, looking for an exit. I saw an opening between two girls and tried to make a run for it. Like the speed of light, Aidan was in front of me. “Where do you think you are going? You don't just get to walk away after humiliating me in front of half the school.” I was caught off guard, that I missed my steps and landed flat on my ass, the collision elicited laughter from the crowd. One look from Aidan and they all fell quiet, he exuded so much power, and instilled fear in them like he was a god or something. I held my backpack like a front shield, just in case another kick was coming. I haven't fully recovered from the kick Amara gave me. Aidan ruffled his glossy hair, making some fall forward in a bang style. His green eyes became dark. “I don't usually give second chances, my warning to you? There wouldn't be a third. Bow before me, and I'll let your actions slide.” His threat crept up my spine, I didn't even take it for granted, but if there's one thing the Galloways are good at, it's not giving in to anything or anyone easily. Amara was by his side again, “You are making us look like a fool in front of this lowlife girl.” “Hush Amara, don't interrupt me ever again.” He growled. I saw the opening between the two girls again, if I made a run for it, he would definitely catch me. So I did the first stupid thing that came to my mind, I swung my backpack with all of my strength at his head. He was so engrossed in his petty argument with Amara, he didn't see it coming, the collision made him bump into her. ‘Now's your chance.” My mind screamed at me. I didn't think twice, I bolted out the first exit I saw, I heard Amara scream in anger, I didn't dare look back for a second. All I knew was that I already made two deadly enemies.
