“Do you love me?” Klaus asked. His hands held my face gently as I let tears freely flow.
“Aria! Get away from him!” I heard Stefan yell.
“Please, answer me.” Klaus begged. I shut my eyes and nodded my head. As soon as I moved, I felt his lips crush onto mine. His fingers wound their way into my hair, as he pulled me closer.
“I’ve waited so long for you,” He muttered. I could feel it start to rain. After a couple of minutes I was soaked, freezing. But Klaus didn’t let go. He just held onto me, as we sat there.
“Aria!” I heard Elijah call out. The others had fled, going back to safety.
“Go away, Elijah!” Klaus growled.
“Klaus, she’s freezing. Take her back to your apartment at least.” Elijah yelled over the roaring wind.
“Fine,” Klaus muttered. And we weren’t on the ground anymore. We were lying on a soft bed, drenching it with rain water.
“Aria, please say something.” Klaus begged. He cradled my body against his chest, as my tears flowed freely.
“I-I wasn’t strong enough,” I whispered.
“What?” Klaus asked confused.
“I wasn’t strong enough to kill you,” I said even softer now.
“So you’ve wanted to kill me all this time?” Klaus asked, enraged now.
“I-don’t-I-”
“I don’t want to hear it. If you want to kill me just do it now.” Klaus growled. He pushed me away from him, and started pacing the room.
“I loved you. I wouldn’t have let anything happen to you, yet you still want to kill me,” Klaus growled. His voice was filled with venom.
“Klaus, please stop,” I begged. His pacing and his rage was just confusing me even more.
“You can’t kill me because you’re not strong enough. You can’t kill me if you want to live.” Klaus growled.
“But I-”
“I’m not going to let you die. And I’m not going to let me die. In fact, I’m going to hold you prisoner.” Klaus grinned.
“What?” I asked even more confused.
“You,” Klaus said, pinning me onto the bed, “Are going to stay here and become my prisoner.” Klaus growled.
“Klaus, you-”
“Stop saying my name!” He yelled. I closed my eyes. Hoping this was all a bad dream.
“Klaus please,” I begged. His eyes softened a little at the sound of my voice.
“What?” He snapped, but his voice didn’t have as much venom as before.
“Please just let me go,” I whispered.
“I can’t do that.” He said, misinterpreting my words, “ I’ve spent too long waiting for you to come back. I don’t care if you hate me, I just want you here. You’re not leaving.” He hissed. I couldn’t hold it in any longer, so I let the tears flow. I heard him gasp as I started to cry.
“Don’t cry. It’s okay, my love. I won’t hurt you,” Klaus whispered, and he kissed away the tears.
“You monster,” I growled,
“Think of me as a monster all you want. But the fact still remains, I would do just about anything to have you,” He growled, crushing his lips to mine again
