Olivia flipped off the stage and nodded with a smile to the enthusiastic crowd, full of grace.
William's gaze never left her. He suppressed the shock inside him, feeling for the first time that the woman in front of him was a complete stranger.
As Olivia approached William, he felt his heart pounding uncontrollably. He reached out his hand, ready to greet her...
However, Olivia gave him a cold glance and brushed past him like a stranger.
William's heart sank. He took a couple of steps forward and grabbed her wrist. "Olivia, we need to talk."
Olivia paused, turned around, and her eyes swept over William's hand holding her wrist. "What is it, Mr. Hayes?"
Olivia's gaze was indifferent and distant under the dim light.
William was stung by the coldness in her eyes and instinctively let go of her. He took a step back irritably but continued to stare at her.
"Olivia, I spoke to Grace about the photo. I'll have her come and apologize to you."
Since Olivia was angry about the photo, he decided to explain the situation to her.
Olivia lowered her eyes and let out a sarcastic laugh. "No need. Just keep your little girlfriend in check and make sure she doesn't bother me again."
What was the point of a late apology?
She didn't care anymore.
William found her words a bit harsh. "She isn't my girlfriend."
Olivia smiled carelessly. "I'm afraid you're the only one who thinks that way, Mr. Hayes."
William frowned slightly, realizing he couldn't understand Olivia at all.
In his view, Olivia's behavior was just an act of revenge for misunderstanding the photo.
He had already explained to her and promised that Grace would apologize. Why wasn't she happy at all?
"What will it take for you to remove the trending topic? Do you want to remarry me, or do you need some other compensation? We can discuss it."
Olivia couldn't help but sneer when she heard this.
Who did William think he was? Olivia had already wasted three good years on him.
Did he really think she would waste any more time on him now?
Not even a second!
"I will remove the trending topic. And there's no need for us to see each other again."
After saying that, Olivia picked up her bag and walked away without giving William a second glance.
William watched her slender, domineering figure leave without a trace of hesitation, his expression fluctuating.
The matter was resolved, and Olivia had directly agreed to remove the trending topics. However, her attitude took him by surprise.
She didn't ask to remarry him like he thought she would, nor did she try to gain any other benefits.
Even during the divorce, he never truly believed that Olivia would leave him. He always felt that she would come back once she got over her tantrum.
But now, he wasn't so sure.
During the three years they were married, he rarely paid attention to her. But whenever he glanced at her, her eyes were always gentle and soft.
Her eyes always followed his every move, as if he was her entire world.
But now, her eyes were cold and piercing.
There was no trace of him left in Olivia's eyes. To her, William was truly just a stranger now.
For the first time, he felt that he might really lose Olivia!
This feeling made him inexplicably irritable.

A month later, at a jewelry banquet, most of the attendees were business elites or entertainment stars. They were either wealthy or influential.
A red Ferrari sports car slowly stopped at the entrance of the venue. Olivia donned a champagne-colored, floor-length gown that perfectly accentuated her curves. Her long blonde hair was tied back, with a few strands left to dangle by her ears, giving her a cool yet sexy vibe.
Her makeup was stunningly bold and fierce, captivating everyone and making it impossible to look away. All the other beauties present seemed to pale in comparison to her.
She stepped out of the car with Ryan Holland, a recently popular male star from her company. Eunice couldn't make it due to other commitments, so she had asked Olivia to bring Ryan to the dinner party.
When William saw Olivia walking arm-in-arm with Ryan, he narrowed his eyes slightly.
How quickly had she switched to a new male companion?
He looked as good as Marcus, but who knows if he would be as willing to spend money on her as Marcus was?
There was a complicated expression in William's eyes, and a surge of jealousy welled up inside him, although he didn't even recognize it himself.
Olivia had already spotted William, but she felt nothing. She chuckled when noticing Grace beside him, and thought. "Someone's been busy."
William watched as the woman turned her head to talk with those around her, revealing her slender, smooth neck and a faint smile on her lips. She was dazzling and irresistibly attractive to him, so much that he couldn't look away.
Grace didn't miss the shock in his eyes. She secretly bit her lip and stepped forward to speak.
Suddenly, someone rushed out from the side and spoke before she could. Her voice was sharp and grating.
"Olivia! What are you doing here? Is this a place for bumpkins like you?"
