After bumping into someone, Emily quickly apologized...

" I'm so sorry. I didn't see you." she quickly said in a decent way.

Seeing her apologize, Daniel had no reason to be mad at her. " Don't worry it's my fault. I should be the one asking for your forgiveness for not seeing this beautiful girl."

Emily blushed as it was her first time seeing someone handsome complimenting her.

Seeing her blush made her appear more cute. Daniel couldn't help but ask..." I've never seen anyone beautiful as you. Would you mind giving me your name? "

Now Emily was going crazy... " my name is...." before she could say her name her phone ringed and it was her uber. She quickly rushed down stairs " sorry but I gotta go."

Before Daniel could ask about if she knew a girl named Emily, she was already outside. Daniel couldn't believe he was going to meet such a pretty girl.He then continued climbing up the stairs smiling to himself.

After Emily got into the Uber they drove straight to the airport. Arriving at the airport, they waited in line to get their documents checked. When it was their turn, Emily handed her passport to the lady.

" Alright all set."

" Thanks." Emily was about to go the lady stopped them.

" What's wrong?" Emily was confused. Why was she stopping them.

" What about the man in the wheelchair?"

" What about him?" Emily didn't understand.

" Where are his documents?"

" Oh right!" Emily didn't know how to explain the situation.

Seeing her struggling to speak, the lady asks... " Isn't this your husband, mam?"

Hearing the lady calling little cub her husband made Emily's face red.

" uhm it's a long story."

" Well then if you don't have his documents then he can't go." the lady said lazily.

Emily had no choice but to explain what happened. After hearing her story, the lady suggested for her to go to the hospital and ask for a letter signed by the doctor that says she is the legal guardian that is in charge of taking care of him.

Looking at the time, it was 13:02 already. She didn't know whether she's going to make it or not.

" Okay, thank you. I would do just that." she said turning the wheelchair around.

On the other side, Daniel met this old lady that stays in the building. Turns out that Emily and her were neighbors. The old lady told him that she just left to another country. Daniel asked for her appearance, turns out that girl he bumped into earlier was Emily.

Daniel quickly drove to the airport. When he got there, he found out that they were not there. He got a call from his assistant that told him to rush to the hospital.

Daniel drove as fast as he could, lucky the hospital wasn't that far from the airport. When he arrived, he asked for a girl named Emily in the reception.

The lady on the reception told him to go to the 5th floor and on his right he'll find the doctor Emily is meeting.

Daniel went and pressed the elevator, but he found it too slow so he decided to take the stairs. fl. when Daniel arrived he looks around to see if she's not outside the office. confirming that she was still inside, he calmed himself down before knocking.

The doctor told him to come in and Daniel was so happy inside that he'll finally get rid of his step brother. He entered the office smiling. Seeing the girl sitting on the chair while her back was facing him, he felt a little strange. He remembers that when she bumped into Emily she was wearing a yellow dress, but this girl in the office is wearing a black skirt with white stripes. with a Pink crop top.

He then thought maybe she changed her clothes. When the doctor asked what he wants he pointed at the girl sitting on the chair. When the girl turned around Daniel was beyond shocked. He quickly asked the doctor...

" Doctor, where's Emily?" his voice was impatient.

The doctor was surprised and told him that she left 5 minutes ago. Daniel couldn't believe it that he missed. He hurriedly went downstairs.

At that time Emily was already on her way to the airport. It was almost 14:00, but she managed to get there on time.

After everything went smoothly, Emi happily sat on her seat not knowing that there are people looking for her.

*** At the Johnson's mansion***

Mrs Johnson's was getting impatient since she hadn't heard from Daniel. She decided to call him.

" Daniel, did you find them?"

Daniel didn't reply immediately instead he sighed. He didn't know what to say. so he didn't reply his mom immediately.

Hearing nothing coming out of the other side, she got nervous and asked again.

" Daniel! did you find them?" this time she said a bit louder.

" The good news is that they flew to another country. And the bad news is that we missed them."

" How could you let that happen?" Mrs Johnson was out of range.

" I know I messed up, but at least we are the only ones who knows where they went." Daniel tried to make her feel better.

" And do you know where they went? huh?''

" yeah. about that. Hehe. " he gave out an awkward laugh.

" What!?" Mrs Johnson was getting impatient.

" I forgot to ask about where their flight was going." He said the last few words in a low voice.

" What? You i***t how are we suppose to track them down now?" his mother couldn't believe what she was hearing.

A servant came to Mrs Johnson to tell her that her friend has arrived.

" I will call you later." she hang up without waiting for him to respond.

In the plane, Emily made sure that little Cub was comfortable. 10 minutes later he had already fallen asleep. Honestly she didn't know what was going on in her life. It felt like it was a dream encountering little Cub. She sighed and laid back to relax.

If Emily and Jim knew that they were being chased by people who have bad intentions on them, they would call this a lucky escape after getting away with this.
