chapter 5 the flame extinguished

398 Words
Clad in his new, impenetrable Primordial God Armor, Arinos marched straight into the scorching, molten core of the Fire Realm to hunt down Stalin, the God of Fire. As Arinos stepped onto the burning obsidian grounds, Stalin descended from a vortex of white-hot flames. In his hands, the Fire God held a double-headed, burning scythe that melted the surrounding rocks just by existing. "You dare return after being struck down by Samtad?" Stalin roared, his voice echoing like an exploding volcano. "Your new armor will become your fiery tomb, Arinos!" Stalin lashed out first, unleashing a towering wave of hellfire that swept across the entire arena. But Arinos didn't even bother to dodge. He walked straight through the inferno, his Primordial God Armor completely absorbing the heat without taking a single scratch. Seeing his flames fail, Stalin charged forward, swinging his blazing scythe in a furious barrage of strikes. Sparks and shockwaves flew into the air as the scythe clashed against Arinos's Aegis Gauntlets. Fueled by the power of the God of War and the four Primordial Giants, Arinos easily parried every strike. Spotting an opening, Stalin tried to summon a massive solar eruption from above to incinerate Arinos on the spot. But Arinos was too fast. Utilizing the overwhelming kinetic force of his gauntlets, Arinos vanished into a flash of movement, closing the distance instantly. He grabbed Stalin's blazing scythe with one hand, snapping the divine weapon in half like a dry twig. Before Stalin could retreat, Arinos caught the Fire God by the throat, slamming him violently onto the obsidian ground. Stalin struggled, summoning all his fiery energy to burn Arinos, but it was useless against the divine armor. Arinos looked down at the God of Fire with cold, ruthless eyes. Raising his armored boot, Arinos brought it down with absolute, merciless force—crushing Stalin's head in a single, brutal strike. The moment Stalin died, a horrifying silence fell over the world. High above in the sky, the Sun violently flickered, turned pitch black, and completely disappeared from existence, plunging the entire mortal realm into total darkness. As Stalin's body burst into a plume of deep-red solar energy, Arinos held out his hands. He absorbed every drop of Stalin’s divine fiery power into himself, his armor glowing with intense, radiant heat amidst the new dark world.
