The Life They Built
Two years passed.
They weren't rich.
They didn't live in a mansion.
They didn't own luxury cars.
But they were happy.
Their apartment was small.
Their children were loud.
Money was always tight.
And Adrian sometimes wondered about his forgotten past.
But every morning, Lily climbed into his bed.
Every afternoon, Leo waited by the window for him.
And every night, Elena fell asleep beside him.
That was enough.
Until one evening...
A black car stopped outside their apartment.
A man in an expensive suit stepped out.
He looked at a photograph in his hand.
Then at the building.
His expression changed.
"He's here."
Another man stepped out.
"Are you sure?"
The first man nodded.
"There's no mistake."
He looked toward the apartment window.
"We've been searching for the heir to the Vale empire for two years."
He stared at the light glowing behind the curtains.
"And we've finally found him."
Inside the apartment, Adrian suddenly dropped the glass in his hand.
It shattered across the floor.
Elena rushed toward him.
"Adrian?"
He stood completely still.
His face had gone pale.
"What happened?"
He pressed a hand against his head.
"I..."
He closed his eyes.
For one second, a flash appeared.
A mansion. A little boy. A woman screaming. A man's voice.
Adrian Vale.
His eyes snapped open.
Elena grabbed his arm.
"Are you okay?"
He stared at her.
"I don't know."
Outside... The man in the black suit made a phone call.
"Sir." A deep voice answered. "Did you find him?"
"Yes." "And?"
The man looked toward the apartment.
"He's alive."
A pause.
"Bring my son home."
The man smiled.
"Yes, Mr. Vale."
Inside the apartment, Adrian looked at Elena and their sleeping children.
He had no idea...
That the life he had built was about to collide with the life he had forgotten.
And this time—Everything would change.
