His Mystery

Way down in South Carolina was a small town called Bare. Deep in the woods in that small town lived a pack of wolves called the Bares. The Alpha of the pack was named Sinister. While he was a very gentle and caring but strict Alpha, the pack noticed he had not mated with any of the female wolves in the pack. Which most of them thought very strange, since most wolves mated at 18, and he was now 36 and had still never mated. His parents thought maybe she just wasn’t in the pack and had brought female wolves from all over to see if any of those were his mate, but that had failed as well. His Beta Abacus, who had been his best friend since they were pups and knew everything about him, knew that it was not because he had not found her, it was because all the female wolves were too skinny and ordinary for him. It was late one September night and Abacus came and got the Alpha and drug him into town to a local bar to drink for a little while and let some steam off. It was in this bar, about three beers in that, the Alpha gripped the table hard enough that he left indents on the side of it. Abacus asked what was wrong and he had no words, just stared at the little dance floor. Abacus followed his eyes to the dance floor where two girls were dancing all alone. The first was a skinny little, short blonde in a little white sundress with a blue jean jacket and cowboy boots. However, the second girl was who he was eyeing. She was a little thicker and had long red hair and wore tight black jeans with holes all in them and a Metallica shirt that had holes all up the side of it, with black glitter combat boots and black eye makeup that made her green eyes very vivid even from across the room. Abacus asked his friend if he had seen something he liked over there and he just growled a low growl under his breath. As they were still sitting there talking and drinking, Sinister was watching the girl. She went to the bar to get a drink and a man started grabbing at her shirt, telling her women that big people shouldn’t wear things like that. As the girl jerked away from him, she said she could fix being fat, but he couldn’t fix being ugly, and then she excused herself from the bathroom. Abacus could see the look in Sinister’s eyes as he got up from the table they were sitting at and walked over to the bar and slammed the guy’s face into the bar and told him he should never talk to his woman that way.  After he had caused the scene, Abacus made him leave before the police got called and they got arrested. When they got to the truck, Sinister said they had to go back and get her name.
