“It’s only been seven months Luna, why do I feel like she about ready to come?” Selena was laying on her back on an exam room bed. Luna smiled and was looking at the monitor screen and smiled. “Oh yes! She’s an alpha plus we don’t know how your blood will affect the gestational period.” Luna could tell the baby was growing and healthy with her powers but being able to look at the baby on medical equipment and measure the growth was very helpful in determining when the due date maybe. “I believe that because of the circumstances behind her conception this little baby will make her appearance by the next full moon.”

Selena sighed, “I don’t want her to come already, I’m not ready to part with her.”

Luna took Selena’s hand, she didn’t know what to say to make her sister feel better about the situation. “I realize that this is very hard and painful but you’re doing the right thing. I understand that doesn’t make you feel any better but please take comfort in it at least.” Luna squeezed Selena’s hand and started cleaning up from the exam.

“I found the perfect couple to raise the baby. They live in Caleb’s pack and they’ve always wanted children, but have been unable to conceive. Which made me wonder why your wards would have issues baring children?”

Luna was use to silly questions from Asteria but normally Selena had more sense, but she’s pregnant and we shall blame it on that.

“Just like every species they all have their struggles and burdens to bare. I don’t have that type of control to over see all of their reproductive systems.” Luna did her best not to sound annoyed.

“That was a stupid question, wasn’t it?” Selena looked at her sister with an oops face.

Luna smiled, “little bit. That’s okay pregnancy brain is a real thing.” They both laughed softly, Asteria bounded in. “Don’t worry little angel, I am here.” Speaking directly to Selena’s belly, Asteria didn’t offer any other greetings. This girl had to be the most rambunctious goddess in all of Olympia. So. Much. Energy.

Selena scooted over which was kinda a task considering she was pretty huge and Asteria plopped down next to her and rubbed the belly. “Alright, well I’m glad to report the baby girl is just fine strong and healthy. I am also pleased that you’ve picked a bonded pair to raise the girl. Asteria and I will accompany you to earth to give her to the couple. It might be helpful for me to be there to explain.” Selena was trying to get a little distance from Asteria who had almost climbed in her lap to rub her belly. “You don’t think I’ll be able to explain it to them? Good gods Asteria a little space PLEASE.”

Asteria scooted over the tiniest bit and pouted. Luna smiled at the movement, “I think you’re going to be feeling a lot at that moment and it might be helpful to have your sisters there to aid you.” Luna was right.. as always Selena thought to herself, it was one of the most wonderful things about her. However it did get a little annoying from time to time, Selena just smiled at her grabbed her hand and said, “thank you. Both of you, I don’t know how anyone could do this themselves.” Asteria smiled, looked up at both of them,

“You can’t make a baby yourself, it’s a team sport. You should know that better than anyone.” Asteria was laughing at her own joke.

“Keep your day job Asteria.” Luna retorted to the youngest of the three.

“Technically she doesn’t have a DAY job.” Selena corrected.

“Pregnancy brain, you both have pregnancy brain!”Leaving her two sisters to cackle at their own jokes. Luna walked down the corridor of their giant home, she wanted to check in on the couple Selena had picked. She was sure they were a perfect couple because Selena wasn’t about to hand her daughter over to just anyone. However the issue remains that these are werewolves. Having an alternate side to them that Selena could not tap into. Luna would be able to not only check on their human nature but also their wolves. This child will have alpha blood running through her along with goddess blood and she did not know how that would affect anything really. It might mean something it might not but the fact remains she needed to take precautions.

Selena was right Ethan and Mia were a great couple. Tender hearted to the children of the pack, not having their own they seemed to have just adopted everyone. Luna was pleased to see that they were kind but firm, they had rules and they made sure the children obeyed them. Which is going to be very helpful with a high spirited alpha female to raise. Luna stood in her balcony attached to her bedroom. From here she could see the earth realm along with other realms that had moon children. In Olympus the gods and goddesses had tasks or creatures to watch out for. The other realms which also had other gods and goddesses were out in the beyond too. Luna was always inspired when she thought about how large everything actually was. The full moon that this child would arrive on is only a week away, she was hopeful that Selena would be ready. Although the sister that she might actually have to look after and worry about was Asteria that girl was a ball of energy and emotions. Deep down Luna didn’t even know if she would be okay, the thought of having to give the child to others to raise was heartbreaking, it has to be done she thought.

“LUNA!!!” Selena screamed for her sister this baby was ready! She needed help to get to the medical room, the contractions were coming hard and fast. Luna burst from her room towards Selena and Asteria came running right behind. The two girls got Selena to her feet and started moving all together, they had to stop every few minutes so Selena could focus on breathing through a contraction. Taking their time and moving slowly they made it to the medical room where Luna had arranged everything they would need to welcome this baby to the world. Selena moved on to the bed with the help of Asteria, Luna got some supplies and started to get in position to check on Selena’s dilation.

“Oh s**t! She’s coming NOW! Selena push!”

Selena barred down and pushed as hard as she could. While Luna watched the baby’s head crown Asteria held Selena’s hands and counted for her. “One more time Selena! A nice big push and she’ll be here!” Selena barred down one more time and gave everything she had.

“Shes here! Well done!” Luna wrapped the baby in a blanket and put her on Selena’s chest.

All three women were crying at the arrival of this little lady. The baby was the only one not crying, just looking at the three of them knowingly with her multicolored eyes. One crystal blue and one bright green. “What’s her name?” Asteria asked. “Iris”
