"How dare you flaunt your status in front of me? You don't deserve such a position. I should be the Luna. No matter what you do... you can't be stronger than me. Ever!" she growled.

"Oh? We'll see in the ring soon anyway. Now, will you do some lady stuff or can you get lost in some hole while I do mine?" Mira asked.

"Just you wait!" Tina turned around and left the bathroom.

Mira scoffed as she watched Tina storm out.

"Weakling!" she muttered and entered the chosen bathroom stall to freshen up.

When she was done, she returned to the training ground, smelling wonderful. William's eyes lit up when he smelled her presence. He was intoxicated by her fresh scent already, but she cautioned him that he would go 7 days without a kiss from her if he didn't control himself. He then giggled and had her sit on his laps. They watched the ongoing competition together.

4 hours later.

Mira returned to the fighting ring, asking for one last challenge, and Tina stepped out. She had changed her clothes from the ankle-length black denim jeans trousers and pale pink singlet that she wore earlier, to ripped bum shorts, a black sports bra and even dared to pair it with 7-inch heels.

"Wow!" some unpaired males exclaimed and whistled upon seeing this piece of delicious meat climbing onto the ring.

"Are you sure that she's actually here to fight or tempt the single males here, then make us jealous?" a young lady said to her friend in whispers.

"It's her choice! Let's just watch the show." the friend advised, and the lady agreed.

It was going to be a big show; you know. The Luna and her principal rival were about to fight. Who would win?

One was a werewolf, the other was human. The battle result seemed clear already. But who said miracles wouldn't happen?

"Wow! Tina, I didn't know you were this eager to be thrown out of the ring. Oh, my!" Mira said with a mocking smile appearing on her lips.

"Those were just mere pups. I'll teach you what a true werewolf's punch feels like." Tina said.

"Feel free!" Mira said indifferently and even curtsied.

"You..." Tina's ire had blown over the top.

"Eat this, b***h!" she yelled and rushed towards Mira at an astonishing speed. Mira simply turned to face the Alpha.

"I'll try to survive." she said to William, who simply chuckled.

Like the hell he'd let her get hurt. If this damn Tina wanted to hurt her... then it would only be in her dreams. Hehe!

6 minutes later

Tina still hadn't even touched Mira's sleeves as she kept dodging all her attacks. It seems she was even having fun as she kept giggling and saying: "Catch me if you can. Catch me, Tina!".

"You coward!" she was forced to cuss and gritted her teeth in ire: "If you are so strong, come fight me. Stop eluding my attacks, bitch." Tina said in dissatisfaction.

"Ooh! You mean I should've remained in one position and waited for you to hit me?" Mira asked in amusement.

"You plan on wearing me down like you did the others, but I won't let your plan succeed!" Tina said and put more effort into her fighting. It was amazing that she could even fight on those heels and not fall.

"Ooh Tina's a hidden pro." one guy exclaimed with excitement. He'd like a strong mate like her- sexy and strong!

"Coward, stop evading!" Tina yelled, and finally used her trump card. She displayed her own style, and it was a dangerous move.

All gasped, and even the Alpha almost rose from his seat.

Tina successfully hit Mira, and she fell to the fighting ring's floor. Her lips got injured, and all gasped.

Mira, however, stood up. She wiped off the blood and licked her lips.

"Delicious!" she said and let her hair free or the ponytail it was tied in earlier.

Her hair fluttered with the wind and she asked for someone to bring her bag from the Alpha's seat. When it was brought to her, she started applying make-up. She wasn't looking beautiful, but looked more like a Pg18 ghost in a horror movie. Even Tina was confused.

Why is she doing this? They had to continue the battle. No time to waste! Deciding that enough was enough, Tina rushed towards Mira, who had her back turned and still busy applying the scary make-up.

Alpha Williams stood up and prepared to save his Luna only for her to turn around at the last moment and blow a powder into Tina's face.

"Let me teach you how to punch!" Mira chuckled as Tina tried to clear the foreign content from her eyes.

She threw a punch at Tina's right cheek, and they heard the sound of cracked bones.

"Sheesh! That must hurt!" someone in the audience whispered.

"You bet.." his companion replied.

Tina fell from the impact and spat out blood.

"That's one. I'm called Mira, so I must give you four punches. Plus, you stressed my husband and insulted me in the bathroom. That makes it times ten," Mira said and immediately pounced on Tina, landing blood-curling blows on her face in quick succession.

"Sss!" some drew in their breath.

The Luna was pure badass. The unlucky Tina couldn't even bring her hands to covering her face, which was the target of Mira's punches. That's because Mira knelt on both of them and Tina couldn't resist at all.

Cheers erupted soon from the crowd. Some even threw money and flowers towards her.

"Luna Mira, Luna Mira, Luna Mira!" they cheered in unison.

William left his seat and jumped into the fighting ring. Then he walked towards to her with a knowing smile.

"Dear, that's enough. Don't dirty your hands." he said and raised her up gently. Then he took off his white t-shirt to clean the blood from her hands.

"You did well, babe." he kissed her right cheek.

Then he turned to face the crowd.

"White Flames, can you see? This is your Luna- Moon goddess' gift to me. She is a special woman. A human vested with strength and power." he then placed his foot on Tina's stomach and exerted force on it, causing her to cough weakly. "Guys, take a look at the both of them. Isn't it funny? She is ugly from inside out, but she wants to be my mate. Look at my soulmate- strong and beautiful from inside out. Whom will you show your due respect?" he asked.

"Luna Mira!" the crowd chorused.

"I heard you insulted my wife, Tina. And what was the rule of this competition? No hurting of anyone to the extent of bleeding. This is just the first test. Only the top ten selected elites can have an epic battle where sustained injuries are expected. You will be in detention for a week to reflect on your mistakes, Tina." William said and carried his wife bridal style.

"And the next competition tomorrow, contestants are to fight in two forms. One of them will be in human form and the other in wolf form. Anything can happen in life. If we fall into a situation whereby we can't transform into our wolf forms, our confidence won't be 100 percent lowered. We must be strong in both forms. Is that okay?"

"Aye, Alpha!" they chorused, and Williams took his spouse away.

Tina saw them leave and gritted her teeth amidst cheers from most of the crowd.

"Damn wrench, the humiliation you made me suffer today, I'll pay you back 200 fold!" she swore in her heart as she was taken to the pack doctor.
