Chapter 6 Huntress Converting the office into two portions didn’t take much effort. On the left side, I stuck a twin bed and a nightstand in the far corner, and on the right, I set up my desk and a filing cabinet. There was a full bathroom just off the room. Also, I added a mini-fridge and a microwave for quick snacks and drinks. I figured if I wanted a hot meal, I’d head over to the diner. And if I needed anything stronger than apple juice, I owned a pub full of liquor. What more could a girl want? As for my peace of mind, I sprinkled sea salt over the threshold of my office door.
