Saving Imogen

{Teagan’s POV} As I was packing my bag my twin boys voices caught my attention. They were talking is quiet whispers outside my bedroom door. “Why don’t you just tell him?” I heard Finn say, anxiety oozing from him. “Da would kill me and you know it, he likes you better anyways!” Rory shot back. I walked over, flinging open the door and glaring at both of them. “What on earth are you two out here whining about?” I asked, crossing my arms over my chest. “Oh, hi da, Finn has something he wants to tell ya!” Rory said, pushing Finn forward, causing him to trip slightly in front of me. He caught himself, glaring daggers at his twin brother over his shoulder, his voice came out anxious, but built into something stronger as he spoke. “It’s just.. well ya see.. it’s been a long time since you’ve gone out in the field, and ya know how dangerous ops like this can be. Maybe, you should let us handle it, we’ve been doing them for years, and we’re more accustomed to doing things like this, more often.” He said. I stared at my twin boys, they’d grown into fine men. Finn was the taller twin, more lean though, with fire red hair, and my icy blue eyes, while Rory was shorter, but more muscular he has his mothers pale green eyes, he was the second strongest of my children. Their older brother Liam was the tallest of all, he’s muscular with a bulky build, with my pale blue eyes. All of my kids have pale skin, just like their mother and I. They were stubborn just like us too, and of course they’re worried, I don’t do much field work anymore. I placed my hands on both of their shoulders. “Boys, I know you’re worried, but like it or not, I’m going. Once we have a narrowed down search radius, I’m going to go with you to help find your sister.” “But da.. she could be..” Rory began, but I shushed him. “Don’t!” I snapped. “I know she’s alive, I just.. know it, and it’s time to bring your baby sister home!” I said, turning back to my room. “Now, I need to finish packing my go bag, I’ll need some clothes for Imogen, so go get something from your sister’s room.” The pause at my door was audible, as when they finally decided to give up, I could hear a sigh from both of them, as they turned and left, making their way down the hall. I knew.. it’s unlikely that my little girl is still alive.. and even if she is, there’s no telling what kind of condition she’s in, but I couldn’t stand by and let her stay there for even a second longer than she had to. I’d find her, no matter what, and I would bring her home, so our family could finally be complete. {Imogen’s POV} I sat in the middle of my cell, my knees pulled to my chest. It had been a week since anyone had come to talk to me. A full week since I’d eaten.. my stomach growled, the sounds of it echoing off the walls. This prison.. it was slowly making the last bit of memories I had slip away. My “family” the one the guards told me about.. my brothers.. my sister.. my mother and father. I didn’t know if they were alive, or de**.. or if they were even looking for me. They could’ve moved on with their lives, it’s not as though I’d know them, even if I did see them again. What would that feel like? To have a family.. to have a home, to have love? Would I ever know anything outside of these four walls, or would this be all I’d ever know? I laid over on my side, trying to use the cold stone floor to soothe the aching, and growling of my stomach. The guards came a week ago, they cut a small clump of my hair, before giving me the plate of food they usually did. Enough to last me for a day or two, but then they never came back. Though their absence didn’t bother me, the lack of food had begun to cause problems. The only thing I could do was wait, either for them to get back, or for the latter. {Teagan’s POV} It took longer to find this place than I thought, a home that until about a week ago was lived in by one of the sons, of the Don in the Costa family. They had moved away, leaving this place empty, with a bit of hacking, which is Delaney’s specialty, she was able to hack into the security cameras around the building. She could see them making trips to a basement every other day. They would go down with a tray of food, and come back a while later with an empty tray. At one point we did see the son of the Don, Vinny, come up covered in blood. I feared the worst as we approached the villa, and once we stepped inside, that awful nagging feeling only got worse. We made our way downstairs, and once in the basement, we could see a massive, metal door. It took some time, but finally with a loud, thunk, it opened. When we opened the door, we could hear the sound of a chain moving slowly, meticulously. The light shone in from behind me, and my entire body tensed. It was her.. my daughter.. she was alive. The condition she was in made me sick, staring at her in this soundproof room, chained up to the wall, only being able to make it to a small toilet, a sink, and a bed. My stomach lurched, as I tried to swallow the bile. Hair that dragged the floor when she walked, skin that was so pale, it nearly looked translucent. Her eyes had dark circles, that completely surrounded them. She was skinny, too skinny, her face and features seeming as though they were sunken in. As I stepped inside, her body jumped, she ran to the wall, trying to make herself smaller. “Please.. please don’t hurt me!” She cried out. Her body trembling, as she flinched away from my touch.
