My name is Elsie and I am the alphas daughter of the moonstone pack or should I say was. The way we run our pack is a little different to others. My great grandfather was the Alpha to Moon crescent Pack he was a great leader and everyone who knew him still speaks so highly of him. He was a true gentleman but stood no messing, he was a true family man. He had two sons my grandad and his brother. With most packs after the death or when the alpha is ready to retire the alpha title gets past down to the oldest son, however my great grandfather said that both his sons was strong leaders and his youngest son should be more then a beta. Our territory was so big he decided with the blessing of the elders to split the pack in two. Giving some of the land in the middle to the elders to do business with the humans, the North my grandfather would be alpha of and the South my father’s uncle would be the alpha of. Everyone was given the decision which alphas they would be under most stayed on the sides of the territory they lived. There was only two other packs in our country and we would still be the now two biggest packs and would fight together if it ever came to it but my great grandfather had respect from the other two packs and other then the odd occasion rogue fight we lived in peace. “Elsie, Carly” shouted a housemaid “the Alpha and Luna would like to speak to you “ Carly looked at me with sad eyes we both knew something was happening our mother has been in pain and crying for over a month now she has been isolating herself from everyone and not taking on any of her duties. As we made our way from our bedroom to our fathers office. We heard a familiar voice it was my father’s cousin the alpha of the moonshine pack. We looked over the banister and he was stood in the foyer he was a tall strong, handsome man power steamed of him, he was stood next to his Luna , Aunt Esme our father has always made us call them our aunt and uncle out of respect. Me and Carly rushed to them “Uncle Jay” our arms wide open he kneeled down and swooped us both up in his arms, we wasn’t small girls either, with me being seventeen and my sister fifteen. We was alphas daughters too. Which just described how big this man was he was the same size if not Slightly taller than my father. He had jet black hair and piecing blue eyes just like my father however life had been much harder for him and had taken a toll on him and aunt Esme, They would do anything to have a family of there own but the moon goddess had not blessed them as of yet. They met at our father alpha ceremony at 21 years old and for the past eight years have been trying relentlessly to have a child. Aunt Esme was like an model of the cat walk unbelievable breath-taking with such a kind heart she would do anything for anyone. “ Why are you here, have we missed something” said Carly “Your father and mother have asked me to come here” he replied with a worrying tone. For the past six months my father has felt dawn to another women and has been trying to fight this feeling but couldn’t anymore even though he loves my mother, the feelings for this women are getting stronger. As much as he and his wolf Zane have been trying to fight it in his sleep the other night he must of slept walked to her. Girls for the mean time I trust beta Nick will be able to take on the duties and run the pack, however we have decided while we are away you will stay with your aunt and uncle at the moonshine pack but we don’t won’t anyone knowing outside this room what is going on, for all they no we are away on a business trip you are to keep yourself to yourself and stay out of trouble remember you are their guests I’m trusting you with my life Jay, if someone is out to get us they may target my girls if we are not here” “You have my word, Cousin I will protect them with my life. I feel like my whole world had been turned upside down. My body felt weak with all this information, like I could feel my parents emotions me and Carly looked at each other nodded and looked at our parents “we will miss you so much please stay intouch” I begged They both nodded at us with teary eyes, we hugged and said our goodbyes. Me and Carly walked back to our rooms in silence with a million questions and thoughts going through our mind. Who the living hell would do this too us! If not someone, Why would the moon goddess do this! I was giving myself a migraine. Soon we was packing out suitcase into the boot of our uncles car, he had drove himself so no one questioned what was happening. But it was very unusual for an alpha to travel without pack members, just in case of an attack. As we drove out of our drive way I looked back. I looked up to my father’s office window, they was both there in the window I could only imagine the emotions they was going through. You could cut the tension in the car with a knife we was a good 6 hours drive from the moonshine pack. We drove in silence with our own thoughts for a good two hours, A car horn pulled me out my thoughts and I felt awkward I need to make conversation. “So can we train at your pack ? Do we need to still go to school or will we be home schooled” My aunt and uncle giggled “ for the time being there will be no school, hopefully your parents shouldn’t be to long and as for training I’m not sure that’s a good idea we can’t have you pair getting hurt “ my uncle advised “Oh they are just worried we will kick your warriors butt” I couldn’t help but high five my sister she was right. “ Girls the beta that was my Fathers has just retired my new beta is young and he is one of our finest warriors we have ever had, he’s family are omega but he worked his ass off growing up to be the best that how he got to where he is now, he pushed the warriors in training everyday and he doesn’t let up on them. Even though we was young me and my sister could look after ourselves. As we pulled into the drive that seemed to go on forever, the guides at the gated bowed Their heads as they let our car through it was the exact replica of our pack everytime I visit here it takes my breath away, we have only ever stayed over night with our parents if there was an event or celebration but this place although like our own takes my breath away. you can see the forest afar that protects the outskirts of the boarders little houses scattered in streets that are well kept , there is shops and hospitality it looks just like a normal neighbourhood expect the castle looking mansion in the middle of town with a lake that the sun beams off behind it. I couldn't wait to explore and see if they had anything different to our pack. I couldn't wait to get on that training ground. *Two weeks later Two weeks had passed me and my sister was keeping out the way from moonshine pack members. They would great us as we walked down to dinner and around the pack house but we didn’t stop for conversation just the polite hello goodbye thank you. We asked if we could help out in either the kitchen or nursery’s but my aunt told us we couldn’t not yet anyways On our arrival back my uncle had some urgent matters to deal with, what ever it was had him running round like a headless chicken I couldn’t help but feel sorry for him,The same day we arrived he sent out his beta to make sure that if anyone was to attack our pack our warriors would be up to standards. Personally I couldn’t see my father being happy with that to me he was saying our warriors was weak. But if my aunt and uncle wouldn’t let us train because of him, this was our prefect opportunity to train. The man was away they didn’t need to worry about me and my sister beating his ass! I kept asking my aunt and uncle to let us train at first they was reluctant to not let us however the beta has been way for two weeks now so they have agreed that I can train while he is away and today is our first day. Our parents have kept their promise and have checked in on us, they are no where near finding anybody that has any idea what Is happening to them, but since they have been away the feeling have suppressed and you can hear the happiness in their voices again mom seems so much happier. No one thought they would be away this long, they knew they would have to return soon a alpha can’t be away from his pack this long, I do wonder how Beta nick was handling things especially with Mr no pain no gain there he sounds like a right ass! my mom and esme agreed to have us home school in the mean time. Bonus to home schooling it only last 3 hours a day. Me and Carly are getting into our workout gear in my room. A bonus of being here we both get our own rooms.The rooms are huge with amazing view of the lake and forest the views go on the miles I have my own walk in closet which mom and dad sent us new clothes as a surprise to cheer us up and a on suite. Even though i miss home being here isn’t so bad I have Carly and she has me. I miss my friends though. Once we are ready we make our way to the training ground a group of girls walk up to Carly and push her into a room I grab the girl then the other girl push me into the room and up the wall Carly jumps up ready to start fighting when a boy grabs her from behind and puts her in a head lock. One of the girls from the group shuts the door it’s then I realise we are in the snooker Hall. The boy grabs a snooker cue and throws it to the blonde haired girl “Nice catch Babe”. She winks at the boy “So you girls have been the talk of the pack. I don’t see what all the boys are drooling over. I mean your hairs look like they need a good wash what colour even is that, is that meant to be blonde.. are you even sister you have green eyes she has blue how weird that’s some f****d up DNA” they all laughed at little miss blonde . My blood was boiling “ who the f**k are you? Second our hair is dark blonde and I have my moms eyes she has my dad’s dip s**t! She gets up as if to rush to my uncles office I quickly stop her I knew if she went there we would be back in lock down and no training he would more the likely inform our parents, they would be worried and come home without getting the answers they deserve, we need to train all this built up anger needs realising.
